Life is filled with simple things that most of us probably relate to. Like your cat being mean to you, or not keeping up with your new year's resolutions. The comic artist from France named Juliette is back on Bored Panda (previous parts here and here) to show some more light-hearted, humorous, and relatable comics. Juliette creates comics about everyday life and its struggles. She draws her inspiration from day-to-day situations while living with her cat and boyfriend.

We got an interview with Juliette and she told us about her main inspiration to create art and how she stated creating it: "I just always loved drawing, so it was a natural process for me! I started doodling at a very young age. I’ve always been creative. Then, like many, I began to draw manga around the age of 14. From one thing to another, I’m now a 30 y.o. webcomic artist."

Juliette started doing comics more than 10 years ago. At that point, it was just for fun. She and her high school friends really enjoyed art at that moment in life. Juliette then continued making the comics because people really enjoyed them.

The artist describes her comics as "relatable, cute, and funny"—at least, she hopes they are. Juliette describes her style as cartoonish, but she says that they are in no way a manga just because the characters have big eyes.

Juliette said that the characters in her comics are surprisingly not representations of her, her boyfriend, and her oh-so-snuggly cat. She draws experiences from real life, sometimes adding something or making it more dramatic.

"My favorite part of art is coloring! The hardest part to me is to set the draft for it to be funny and more important, for it to be funny in English and French," said the artist when asked what ups and downs she faces while creating.

She also shared what her favorite comic artists are: "ArtbyMoga is a huge inspiration. So are Cassandra Calin, Sarah Andersen, Maliki (a French comic artist), and really, all the webcomic artists I’m getting along with!"

Juliette tells us more about her career and hobbies: "I’m a freelance illustrator, so really, drawing is what I do for a living. I’ve also been a graphic designer for 8 years now. I don’t really have other hobbies, really, I just have other activities I like to do, like listening to movie soundtracks, playing some games, or cuddling with my cat."

The artist also shares more details about herself and her life: "I’m just a French artist who has the chance to have her passion as her job. I used to live in the south of France where I studied cinema in high school and graphic design at an art school. After that, I moved to South Korea for 1 year and a half. I came back to France by the end of 2013 and finally, moved to Paris 1 year later. Still in Paris today and I love it!"

Juliette on how being featured on Bored Panda affected her career: "I’ve been featured twice. The first time, it brought lots of new readers, the second not so much! I guess Bored Panda boosted me a little! I hope you’ll enjoy my comics and come check out the many other ones on my Instagram!"
