OMG this is exactly the attitude a local business owner used to take until the day he passed away. This guy was so rich, he would park in downtown anywhere he wanted and then on his way into the office he would hand his secretary a stack of parking tickets and say "Take care of this".

When I worked at the Airport in food service, the pilots would come through to get something to eat. Not only did they not tip, they were pulling money out of our tip jar. We learned to hide it from them. The flight attendants were rude and demanding, and they never tipped. Even the airport employees who were making decent pay never tipped.

Wrong: because it depend on the EDUCATION they had recieved when they were young... today, many "new rich people" are not well educated, had no sense of generosity or didn't know the meaning of "Working". Give money/tips/change to other in restaurant (for example) its just a matter of education (I know many normal people who don't let the change, will they change their habits if they were richer?)

That's awful. Not all wealthy people got that way by being terrible people. My mom is well off from working damn hard and she gives more to the people and community around her than anyone else around here. She also created jobs for a lot people (she owned her business for 14 years before she sold it) and made sure those employees were happy and compensated above industry standard, and a lot of those people worked for her the entire time she was the owner. Sometimes people are wealthy because they are smart AND good people

My former boss is super rich but she still shops at Dollar Tree. She didn't have money when she started out, so I bet she'll always be thrifty.

She's smart cos she knows money is just temporary and at any time she could wind up back where she started. It's a lot harder to fall when you're not used to being at the bottom.

My (ex)boss would not let me take a day off to attend a wedding. He is a multi millionaire with over 5000 employees. He said he didn't get rich by being generous". Didn't stop him from being a total douche tho. (I quit btw).

I know a rich guy that always tip everybody in the hotel , but never the clean lady. I always felt extremely annoyed by this behavior. Must have something to do with"love people kissing my butt".

I'm honestly not impressed anymore with people showing off how rich they are. In the end they're mortal people that have basic human needs. Everything else is just excess obtained through work or inheritance. And those who got rich through inheritance are the worst when it comes to handling their wealth.

The truth about moest loyalty program. The conversion, in money, is usually 0.1% or less. Almost never worth it! The probably only exception are airlines miles, and then only if spent on flights and upgrades, never on other products.
