Lainey Molnar's art becomes the canvas for reflecting society, portraying the modern woman’s journey in a world pulsating with diverse narratives. The artist fearlessly navigates through the pressures that women face daily. With her thought-provoking comics, she challenges the norms and celebrates honest womanhood.

The illustrations serve as a fun yet profound exploration of various topics, from traditional expectations to contemporary dialogues around feminism, body image, abortion, mental health, social stereotypes, relationships, etc.

Overall, each girl can relate to Lainey Molnar's comics, as the artist aims to inspire and empower women. Would you like to know more about the artist and look at some feminine-inspired illustrations? You are at the right place, so we better start, shall we?

Who Is Lainey Molnar?

According to the web search results, Lainey Molnar's real name is Lainey D. Molnár. She is a Hungarian living in Amsterdam, Netherlands. As social media doesn't reflect reality nowadays, Lainey successfully spreads social messages through her Instagram. Lainey began posting her art on Instagram in October 2019.

Eventually, she stepped away from social media due to persistent online harassment. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she began sharing the signature drawings she became known for. Some were portraits of people like Meghan Markle, Lady Gaga, and Emma Watson. Best known for her comics, Lainey is also a motivational speaker, owning her online course Soul Sister Academy

Furthermore, a Lainey Molnar meme was created, the Laineyball. It’s an exploitable meme character based on Lainey Molnar. 4chan, the popular image board community, was the platform where it went viral. Laineyball and 4chan users intend to annoy the author by making it more popular than the original comic.

Condoms ARE uncomfortable! I imagine they don't feel too comfortable for a woman either. [Start Dodgy infomercial voice now] That's why you need... LUBE. Simply place a little inside the condom for more comfortability for YOU, and plenty on the outside for your partner. Don't forget to trim your pubes to avoid 'snagging'. LUBE! So from us here at LUBE, we say to you: Don't be a prick, put a condom on your d**k. But make sure you remember, to add some lube your member.

I was about to down vote you until I saw the stuff about LUBE. It's the best. There's this idea that you only need it if there's a problem with the vagina, but no-- it's great. I love lube.

Same reason why the men's contraceptive stopped the tests! Men had mild irritations so they stopped it! Meanwhile women through history have died in the process of making safe contraception methods! But who cares right?

Condoms are just freaking fine, as long as the volume of your d**k is sufficient to utilize their full capacity.

DID YOU KNOW: They developed a male birth control pill, with nearly the same efficacy of the female birth control pill? It was shot down because it had all of the same side effects. So where's my damn pill? We'll let women suffer so we don't have to wear condoms, but when an alternative came down to share/carry said suffering, we shot it down? I want my birth control pill, so my wife doesn't have to take hers. Men are jerks.

Thank you. But I'd like to suggest something else to you, if I may. Vasectomy. Because it's getting easier to reverse all the time, and vasectomy is also associated with a *reduction* in mortality, from ANY and ALL causes. Something to think about.

This ! Vasectomies are fully reversable, I think boys should all have one and have a reversal when they are mature and financially stable and ready to have a child.

As a midwife student, I disagree: it is still a surgical intervention, and it sometimes cannot be reversed, and there is no way to know in advance whether it will be reversible or not. However, teaching kids together (don't separate safe sex ed in boys vs girls classes!) about contraception and consent, should be the prerogative in any school.

I gotta say, not all abortions are traumatic. I go with this post and I support the fact that it can be traumatic and it shouldn't be taken lightly, but please don't take away from women the fact that the strength of their free choice and self-respect can make an abortion a desirable and acceptable thing to live. Of course it depends on the woman, the context of the unwanted pregnancy, the people on her path, meds as well as close ones... I say this as someone who sees a lot of different women coming in to get an abortion, and leaving with a smile on their face because they're doing what they want :) Plus, in a country/state where abortion is legal, an unwanted pregnancy is by far safer to have than an STI!

Except the first gets censored by society because accepting that people are different "makes others uncomfortable". The first I heard about the side effects of birth control was around 24-25 years old directly talking to a friend who was explaining the severe migrains she got. Otherwise you just hear that women can just take a pill and don't have to worry about protection.

Choosing to have sex at any time, regardless of birth control use, is choosing to open ourselves to the possibility of pregnancy. For fully conscious connections, both men and women should only choose to have sex if they are willing to take 100% responsibility for the care of the potentially resulting offspring. There is never any guarantee that the other partner will be alive and capable to take care of the child. This calls us to greater discernment with when, how, and with whom we open our bodies. Most people are uncomfortable with or unwilling to be this self-responsible, and, it is in this 100% personal responsibility with our bodies and our energy that our true empowerment as creative beings resides.

Fu*k birth control. I only took it for couple of weeks and almost killed 22yr old me. 125lb with 0% preexisting risk for blood clots. Cost $30k to save me. THIS. It is SO UNFAIR what women have to go through to avoid having a child. It should be the opposite. If you WANT a child you should have to take a pill every day that gives you a bunch of crazy symptoms. We shouldn't have to take a pill, use a condom AND still risk having to get an abortion JUST because we don't want kids but want to enjoy sex.

Since politicians are all so interested in what happens to the female body and are clearly doctors, qualified to make decisions on behalf of the masses, I think it's only fair to call and leave messages about every little thing that happens with our bodies. Had breaktrough bleeding? Phone call. And bad cramps? Phone call w/ excruciating description of what cramps feel like. Got pregnant? Phone call. Had sex? Phone call. Started / ended period? Phone call. Had some weird discharge? Phone call. We'll just see how interested they really are.

Condoms basically make sex completely pointless, so there’s that. But it is what it is, I suppose. All those side effects for women are probably worse still. There’s simply no way to have good, safe sex then, and that’s that. Sad.

Condoms don't actually bother me that much, it isn't that different from wearing a plastic glove so long as the condom is big enough. An undersized condom is very uncomfortable uncomfortable and fairly easy to split.

also just a friendly reminder that, even if you go through with the pregnancy and put the baby up for the adoption you can: experience pregnancy issues, face shame and stigma, need to go through f**king labor (with can K!LL you), and on top of all that, deal with adoption. and that list BARELY scratches the surface.

Okay but as a female, I have to say that I'm not a big fan of condoms, either. Obviously they get the job done but honestly I'd rather take the pill (or use Nuva ring, which has worked great for me) & not have to deal with stinky, messy, mood-killing condoms that throw my body's natural pH out of whack for days.

We all have individual views and here is mine. Both male and female have decided that they dislike birth control. Now they have to decide if they are gonna take the risks involved in having sex. Men and Women would hash out an agreement, but selfish adult Male and Female humans insist on complaining and continuing the mythical gender war. Only the female considers Murdering the child to avoid the responsibility of helping one of God's miracles grow up. Notice I never said anything negative about MEN or WOMEN. They are not only adults but are spiritually evolved, humans. Multiply children we need another baby boom. Grow up children you are not opposites but two halves of the most creative force on earth.

When Natures God shows up we call it "CONCEPTION" Two halves of the most creative force on this planet. A binary unit is God even if the selfish child claims to be non-binary later. Teach your children well and they will give you grandchildren. Let the public teach them and they will act like children forever.

I believe in a woman being Independent Modern Woman and support their beliefs. But, you must consider some boundaries that may offend other females and a male like me who is loving, caring, giving, honorable, a retired Vet who would die for God, Country, and Family. Abortion is a " woman's choice ", but I am Pro-Life. Interesting fact I learned at Mass today which I attend every day since March of 2021, streamed from Stone bridge, Mass. Muslims protect the womb, but do not protect human life ( Radical Islamic Terrorists ) Muslims have every large families, whereas Christians have small families. Eventually, we Christians and Jews will be outnumbered. So teach little kids now Arabic so they can survive 50 years from now.

You missed the point she made... it is either abortion which is both physically and mentally demanding OR go through with an unwanted pregnancy, which is also not easy... can't even imagine giving up a child you had under your heart for 9 months, especially not knowing, whether they end up in a loving, happy, healthy home or not. The point is, it should NOT be a woman's sole responsibility to take precautions not to get pregnant. It's both parties' responsibility and let's face it, putting a frickin' condom on is much easier than being on the pill...

What’s The Creative Process Behind Lainey Molnar Comics?

The artist told Bored Panda she has a miles-long list of illustration ideas on her phone: “I sometimes literally wake up in the middle of the night to write down new ones, and I grab my phone to make notes at any point when I see something inspiring.”

When she sits down and draws that idea from the list, she finds it resonates with the moment. As Lainey sometimes loves to binge-watch TV shows while drawing, she says: “Still, usually, I like to create an ambiance, like candles, incense, and good music, because I believe the vibes and emotions also go into every artwork.”

Is Lainey Molnar Art Personal?

When asked whether she has any personal favorites from her illustrations, Lainey said it’s the one where she compares “someone with physical health struggles” and “someone with mental health struggles.”

The artist shared that this is because it’s a very personal one. Lainey admits she struggled with her mental health for over 18 years. So, she is the one who knows how complicated it can be living with this invisible illness.

Even though Lainey usually explores female empowerment topics straightforwardly or funnily, the artist also adds, “Still, at the end of the day, we are all simply human beings. I find it crucial to address stigmatized topics because it gives so many of us relief to know that we aren't alone.”

What Motivates Modern Women Like Lainey?

Motivation and creative block are some of the most crucial topics for all modern women, especially artists. Lainey hasn’t had to experience creative block very often. The illustrator claims she simply has too much to say: “In an ideal world, a lot of what I’m communicating would be obvious, but as we’re not there yet, I don't mind processing the same pain points over and over again via a visual medium.”

Lainey is thrilled about the feedback she gets, as she says it’s “overwhelmingly positive.” Of course, that would drive any artist’s self-esteem, right? So, Lainey’s case is also not an exception, as she finds feedback as an endless source of motivation.

What Influences Lainey’s Art?

Artists like Adam Ellis, Tiny Moron, and Wowocomics inspire Lainey. She says: “They all have very different styles and a very different sense of humor, but I think it always comes down to personality that shines through the art, so there is space for all unique creators to show how they perceive the world.”

Looking at these artists from Lainey’s perspective, she values vision and purpose over technical skills such as anatomy or shading.

What's Up With Lainey Molnar?

One of Lainey’s most significant projects was releasing a book Mating in Captivity: Reconciling the Erotic and the Domestic. As she has worked in publishing and was a blogger for more than a decade, the artist claims herself as a “huge bookworm.” Hence, captions in Laine’s art play an equal role as the illustrations themselves.

Daily, she shares her art with her one million followers on her Instagram. Lainey keeps her comics consistent, exploring the same social topics and keeping an authentic style, as she claims: “I really hope that I can create something magical that will help women be happier and more liberated from societal expectations.”
