We've already presented you with the nominees for the funniest wildlife photography shot of the year, and now the time has come to find out who the winner is.

The photography awards are held in order to spread awareness about wildlife conservation since 2015 and with each year it's growing more and more popular. "It’s been a real success this year, the quality of images has improved substantially and we have had more entries and from more countries," said one of the founders of the photo contest, photographer Paul Joynson-Hicks.

And while funny photos of clumsy eagles and laughing hamsters are sure to make you giggle, we shouldn't forget about the cause. The photography contest organizers invite everyone to check out the born free website and spread the word about wildlife conservation together with the amusing bunch of beautiful photos.

Does anyone else feel that it's kinda wrong to look at this picture? I mean, they thought they were alone...

Yup, I just did a Google Search for Image and found these 14 pictures are part of The 34 funniest animal photos of 2017 shown in the The Telegraph, U.K. And the comment under this one is "Is there no privacy?! Bence Mate caught these two in flagrante". And under this in small print it shows Credit: Bence Mate, so he's definitely the photographer of the picture. I also found this about him: Award-winning Hungarian photographer Bence Máté captures wildlife up close and personal. His nickname - 'the invisible wildlife photographer' - offers an explanation to just how he manages to capture such intimate snaps. He can spend days, weeks or even months quietly tucked away in a hide that he has carefully designed and built. These often utilise one-way glass, which is what enables him to get so close to his oblivious subjects.

"Bloody hell..." Thinks the girl, crouched bear... "Nifty! I'll be on tv!" Thinks the boy, standing bear.
