Fascinated by the beauty of hummingbirds, photographer Sean Graesser decided to share it with his followers. One of the things that really resonated with the public were the gorgeous colors of these little birds’ feathers. The Ruby-throated, Crowned woodnymph and other species of hummingbirds that Sean encountered have magical-looking feathers that reflect light as they turn towards direct sunlight, and look like glowing beacons. He use littles traps and nets like spider web . It is forbidden to catch hummingbirds but he is a biologist and have authorization

If they know and trust you, they will come to you. We have Ruby-Throated(rufous) Hummers here in NC, and I keep a feeder out for them from early spring to late summer. If you make a mixture of sugared water and add a red food coloring, they will be attracted and land on your hand in order to feed. Hummers are attracted to the color red.

I heard somewhere, that if a hummingbird stop moving their wings, they die. Seems to be a myth

That's a myth. I have actually seen one sit without moving it's wings, but its usually very brief. They do have a crazy metabolism. When they sleep, they basically hibernate. Their metabolism slows waaaaay down.
