We visited fields and gardens all across the country and were blown away by all the varieties – over 1500 to be exact. Below is what we saw.

Holy s**t. This is beautiful. And apparently the only way I can convey my wonder is by swearing, definitely not unlike me.

Hey, that's where I live. I see this everyday when I look through my front window. Although they have started to cut them down (to preserve the bulb).

The fields of tulips are mostly for cultivating the bulbs to be sold as export. Sad reality is that the farmers do whats called "topping" the tulips in order for the bulbs to grow bigger. Basically they just chop the flower heads off like this...https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=120&v=RKsUW-Vuhl0

They're beautiful of course but I'm wondering what they do with all of them. Do they ship them out all at once? Logistics and timing must be a nightmare. How do you harvest flowers? Just curious.

They are growing them in order to export the bulbs, they don't harvest the flower itself, in fact they chop the flower heads off at some point in order to grow the bulb bigger.

The color scheme with the dresses and flowers is really nice.

Notice how there's not a single butterfly, bee or other insect in the close-up pictures? That's because these fileds are covered with poison! https://www.telegraph.co.uk/gardening/how-to-grow/dont-plant-poisoned-bulbs/ Nice colors though. Isn't that what's important?!?

No not necessarily, just because you don't see any doesn't mean there aren't any. The insects just weren't what they were focusing on so they didn't take any pictures of the insects. You also gotta realize the pictures shown are also not every single picture they took while there either so we don't know if they took pictures of butterflies or not
