Artist Joanna Thangiah's colorful illustrations are feminist, body positive and full of unicorns. Her drawings, mostly depicting women of different body types include messages that remind the viewers to appreciate their body for what it is, be their authentic selves and take care of their mental health.

I must agree with you. The art does border on Uncanny valley. Even with the large eyes,
Load More Replies...Some of these messages are super self positive and I can totally get behind that, the art too, respect to the artist...but... Some of these statements are really...aggressive and that's not a positive message. I mean I get the anger I get why one would be mad, but anger is a sign of fear and frustration about situations(or people) beyond our control.... and it's good to acknowledge those feelings...but real confidence is self evident and does need push back some times but doesn't need to push first, I think the focus should be on inner peace not the perception of others, IMO. Again, major props.
