At first, Jaime was into photography, but he found it tough to do everything he wanted. Then, in 2019, he learned 3D by watching YouTube tutorials and chatting on forums. Oh, and the artist shared that he really enjoys pizza!

Looking at all the creative artwork, we asked Jaime where he gets his ideas from. "I’m inspired by everyday objects and things easily accessible to us," he shared. "But without a doubt, my main inspiration is Andy Warhol. My works are based on simple and colorful compositions like those of Warhol, but I add a touch of surrealism and concept."

According to Jaime, his creative process is quite simple: "I take a main object and give it a new meaning. I don't sketch since my drawing skills aren't great. Instead, I prefer working directly in 3D and then adding lighting."

The most challenging aspect of the creative process for Jaime is translating the ideas in his head into a well-executed composition. "I have a huge list of ideas in my notes, but only a select few make it to completion. Honestly, I have ideas that are authentic garbage so I must choose well what to do in 3D.

What I enjoy the most is placing objects in the composition and illuminating them. I can spend hours tweaking small parameters."

Jaime's works have gained global recognition, being featured in various publications. However, for him, the ultimate reward is the creative process itself. "When people appreciate and understand my work, it's simply gratifying. I love the idea that my creations have a 'perpetual' impact. The fact that they publish my work is a form of recognition that motivates me to keep making new creations."

This is clever. The logo itself would probably look different with these glasses on. It looks like it should have a 3D effect.
