We continually vote down measures to protect our own interest. Freedom is worth fighting for, but we’re not going to live long and healthy enough to enjoy it if we’re going to continue being stupid. Be aware, be informed, and always continue surveillance on ourselves and our government. People on the frontline staring and fighting this disease just want us to stay home and stop panic buying. Bare minimum. I’m immune compromised and have been fighting two tumors and metastatic cancer. Have no financial security, but have hope and purpose now. I’ve learned through that time, what I can do for my loved ones is to get myself healthy. I’m an EMT and nail technician, and I can’t do any of it right now. Just sharing supplies and checking in with loved ones.

Don’t worry about the economy or paying your bills now. Utility companies can’t shut anything off or evict you. Enough of us have suffered, and through this we have each other. This is the year we band together and use our voice and actions. We’ll remember and the awful profiteers and heartless corporations will face charges or at least experience a dent big enough for others to step up and take that place. Survive and keep each other healthy. When we get through this, we can work together to rectify the damages. The infrastructure is still intact and over 99% of us are still here. We need to do this now. Otherwise we’ll lose more than each other, money and hope, we lose the human spirit and what it means to be alive. Entertainment, the arts, and material goods will be in demand again, but we have to make sure that a dark ages don’t befall us. Use this time to clean, sleep, connect in other ways, work on creativity, exercise (free resources online), figure out what’s meaningful to you.
