Christmas decorations have been around the city for a while but I only managed to get up early into a dry morning last Sunday.
Combination of having a free day with no rain was something unusual in last few weeks so I didn’t hesitate, took my camera and a tripod and went to the city centre. Only shame was that the “blue hour” didn’t last that long. Not even an hour. Merry Christmas!

It's one of the nicest I have ever seen. Well, money talks :)
Load More Replies...Stunning decorations! They should keep them through the year! Or these for the winter and different types for every season! This will bring so much joy! :)
Hmm they usually put some advertisement banners over Oxford St. and Regent St. after Xmas.
Load More Replies...Lovely photos taken with minimal amount of people & vehicles so you can see the decorations much better! (Don't know why the Royal Academy of Arts is there though as there's no lights on show!)
Early Sunday morning. The city was still asleep. You are right, no lights there. But I liked it anyway, the blue sky and those trees looked quite festive to me.
Load More Replies...London can afford to do this when they are pinching half of the council tax collected by other councils around the country, Our Christmas lights in Gainsborough were a disgrace AS usual.
But we have an expensive pubs, skyhigh rents and crowds of people everywhere Richard. These pictures are like escape from reality when I look at them.
