Teacher Demands 120 Free Vinyl Decals In Time For Christmas, Goes Crazy When The Woman Says No
Christmas is the time of gingerbread houses, awkward family cards, and a**holes bullying people into getting free stuff. This high school teacher, for example, wanted to get his 120 students custom vinyl decals each, so he demanded an artist make them. For free. Scroll down to check out what freelancers have to deal with during the holidays and let us know what you think about the whole ordeal in the comments. Same !! If it's my job, it's how I make a living, so how on Earth could I do it for free ??

The customer is NOT always right. And that woman wasn't even a customer, she was acting like a freeloader. It made me laugh when she said it would ruin Christmas for her students. lol Yeah. Having no freebies ruins Christmas every time.
I've fired clients before. I will not take abuse and garbage from anyone, no matter what they're paying, and I will not permit anyone to abuse my staff, either.

The people saying FAKE never had to deal with bonkers customers OR they're the very same people who expect people to give them free stuff. The rest are like.. yep.. these people are EVERYWHERE. They demand free food in diners, they demand free clothes at the mall. You're lucky if you think this is fake.
"Are you serious?.....This is literally your job!".............. then pay her for it....that's how jobs work...
I have to say that I really don't need to see any more terrible people posts on Bored Panda. When I found this site a while back it was all about creative people and people who made the world a better place. Right now there are at least three posts about terrible people. I'd love to never see that kind of thing here ever again.
One workaround is to click on the links at the top: Art, Photography, etc. Another one is to click on Latest and scroll down. Another option is to check other sites, such as Kuriositas.

I pay cash every two weeks and he was telling me the other day that other people pay direct from their bank. Unfortunately, some of them haven't paid him at all and he is now struggling because of that. They seem to think they are entitled to his service without paying, and my guess is that they will be the first to complain when he is forced to stop. Awful behaviour.
Huh. Must be related to the teachers who used to come into our public library and ask us to give them enough bookmarks, etc. for their classes, and would then get huffy when we said we could give them the name of the company where we purchased them but were not budgeted to supply whole classes unless they were on a library visit.
How could people expect to get stuff for free? And this teacher is so rude and demanding, even after artist offered discount!
I've been seeing way to many of these as of late. I'm sure the first one or two were real, but now I'm positive that the majority of these "entitled a-holes expect free stuff" posts are fake.
As a teacher, I'm embarrassed this person is a teacher. I teach my students kindness is the most important thing.
I don't know about places other than the US, but I'm noticing a lot more online companies that are giving the seller the opportunity to review their customers, too. I think Facebook MarketPlace is one, along with CraigsList and Offer Up or Let Go. Although I doubt it will change some peoples' attitudes, it can be a great tool if utilized.
My bank refused to give me their old beat up, leftover money. Ruined my Christmas. Bastards!
I'm pretty sure if this was real a bunch of high school students wouldn't be heartbroken over a sticker. I don't doubt people like this exist in the real world - In fact, I worked in customer service and know they do - but come on... the over dramatic responses like "you've ruined their Christmas" really make it difficult to believe.
If you're good at something never do it for free. When you have good contacts, never embarrass them or yourself.
Only way this could be a more asinine argument is if the students who's Christmas was being "ruined" were all in a Jewish school.
I get c**p like that all the time. "Freelance" does NOT mean "no charge".
I'm surprised she didn't just block the b***h when she asked not to be contacted again.
Is it me or these stories are getting old? Same premise, same answers... i'm a second away to call them fake.
How would it "ruin" Christmas for the students? They won't get stuff at home? and why would you promise something you can't guarantee to have before Christmas break starts? and why not buy them the cheap $1 candy canes? That's at least 2 boxes per class. And it must be a small school since the grade I'm in has 836 students alone and my math teacher says she 240 students so 120 isn't a lot I'm not a teacher but yeah I get the stress of remembering all of the students names and if they're bad their parents names and if the parents are divorced/passed away because someone's mom passed away 2 years ago and the teacher came to our school last year and she had no idea so this is what happened Teacher:*students name* If you don't be quiet I'll call your momma(I live in the south) Student: I don't see how that's possible teacherReally? Fine let's call her right now, do you have your phone on you(because some parents don't answer the schools' numbers) Student: Yea *unlocks phone and hands it to on
The phone key board thingy* Say hi to God for me*Sits back down* I mean teachers are more careful now bc of that

Here's an idea.....it might sound crazy, but I'm just spit-balling here.......you could choose not to read those stories.

I believe that choosy beggars exist --- but this just doesn't seem real.
I mean... even if it were fake, it wouldn’t be to get on boredpanda. It’s posted on reddit, after all!
