Despite the fact that for most of us this blissful moment is in the past, we still can rejoice in seeing other kids experiencing the childhood wonders. The only thing left is to immortalize it in wonderful pictures. But as many know, children are not the easiest subject to capture in photography, and they don't always reflect the beauty of childhood, so it's up to the brilliant child photographers like Iwona Podlasinska to bring out the best in them, and to show what childhood is really all about.

She's got contemplative vibes, like "What's the point of this?" or "Is this the meaning of life? Posing for carefully composed photos to evoke nostalgia in adults?"
She must be good to be able to get both still and looking at the camera!
This ram doesn't look safe, but what makes me curious is the fact that he has a bone in his hand. Just... why
There is a dreamlike quality to all of these photos. The subject, setting and light work magic together.
This one almost captures it. Except I would be, and still are, deeply focused on the book
With all due respect, while these photos are gorgeous, I don't consider them to show "what childhood is all about.
I agree! They are an artistic representation of childhood. Most are pensive, almost sad. Loneliness is here. I don’t see or feel the joy, the magic, the inner world of children, or me as a child. I wish I could capture the delicious depth and freedom of complete connection to feelings and body and imagination, energy. Rarely, I sense it. And how much is in the way now of that state.
