I Introduce My Hometown Thessaloniki Through The Eyes Of People In Love With Its Beauty
"SparKlinG eyes" started as a personal wish to discover the collateral beauty in my hometown, Thessaloniki Greece, through the eyes of other people. This is how it works - oh yeah, it's still open, and you are all welcome to join!
I encourage people to share their favorite spots in this beautiful city. To describe in a few words anything that makes their eyes sparkle, when they stare at it. Then I need a smiling photo of their face, so as to capture the SparKlinG eyes in my portrait drawing. That's all it takes to become a part of this artistic, positive project!
The spots are gathered in a Google map I've made, and the pencil drawings are posted on my FB page. Here you can see a sample of my drawing ideas! I used pencils for these black and white drawings, putting the emphasis on the eyes.
SKG is the initials of my hometown's airport... this is where "SparKlinG" derives from. If you like my pencil sketches, gimme a like & do not hesitate to contact me if you wish to participate!
