People just love collecting things, no matter what. And it's really amazing how different each collection is from one another. Some collect stamps, others toys, and others go even further and create their own ideas for a collection.

Which is why I thought it would be interesting to see what Bored Panda community members are collecting, and I wasn't disappointed. Some collections were really bizarre in an awesome way, some collections were more standard, but still very exciting to see. Without a doubt, there's a collection for anything one might conceive of.

Nice, I have an A1200, C64, PS2, N64, original Xbox and xbox 360 myself, oh and an Atari 2600.

Did you buy these when they were current or have you acquired them later? I still have an Acorn Electron and an Archimedes, both of which were bought new. Electron is almost unrecognizable from the original as it has that many expansion units on it!

This is so awesome - but, why aren't your consoles hooked up to a Tv???? Sure, you'd be constantly going "what do I play today?", but at least the chose would be there...

My mother and step father collect consoles and games. Over $25k worth of video games, the vast majority of which likely won't get played because there's so many. We just finally got a PS5 though.

I can see a C64 computer, and another two computers. These are NOT game consoles. Can someone identity the computer on top raw (white keyboard) and the black one with tape loader, near the batman logo (possible ZX spectrum +2) ?

On computers back in the 80s, you played more games than did work, so these were indeed game consoles.

Skulls and skeletons are not so odd to collect. People interested in human or veterinary medicine have these, science teachers, and lots of artists have these too. They are cool! I have a dog, cat, horse, deer (male and female), and cow, as well as complete turtle shells. Just be careful with the teeth, sometimes they fall out!
