There’s only so much most of us can see when looking at basic pavement. Not David Zinn, though. This talented artist is from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and is well-known for his chalk-drawn pieces on the streets. His drawings follow the adventures of random adorable characters and are very popular among David’s more than 600K followers on Instagram.
In a previous Bored Panda post, the artist told us: "The honest truth about my art is that I am inspired by the absence of perfection as a possibility: between the irregularities of the stained concrete and the limited hours of available daylight outdoors, perfection is blessedly not an option. Instead, there is just the lunatic joy of finding the most satisfying option that exists within those limitations." Scroll down to see the newest work by David.

Just look at those yes!!!!!! DUN DUN has become a liquid pool now
I once had a poorly bred little poodly mix with a tail that looked just like that.
I wish these were painted instead of done in chalk... they deserve to stick around.
I have a cat who would be trying to open the hamster ball... like a canned snack.
How is this just with chalk? I can’t even draw this good with multiple pencils and rubbers
Looks like one of those things at the bank- like, “I WOULD LIKE 234 BUCKS” “okay, maybe when pigs fly”
I want to know what that is on the plate...almost looks like a ginger woodchuck.
I didn't know pups drank coffee, but now that I think of it, it would explain a lot.
I have a Christmas ornament that looks a lot like this little flying pig.
The thimble flowerpot does it for me. I LOVED the Borrower books when I was a kid, and how they 'borrowed" thimbles and buttons and other tiny stuff to use.
🎵 I want adventure in the great wide somewhere...i want it more than I can tell...
I think I am too old... I can't imagine sitting on pavement long enough to draw all those bricks, not to mention sleepy bear.
I’ve seen these online before and I absolutely love them! So imaginative and amazing perspective.
