Celebrities live under a microscope, yet some still have hidden talents. Well, maybe they weren’t hiding it, the media just chose to focus on other things about them.
Some of these people started painting before fame, some discovered art later in life. Some famous people have been painting under a pseudonym for years and you might have heard of them already. For instance, Lucy Liu first started showing her works of art under the pseudonym Yu Ling in 1993 but is now exhibiting beautiful paintings under her real name.
We did a bit of digging and were amazed about how multi-talented some celebrities are. Our biggest surprise was perhaps Sylvester Stallone whom we usually imagine as Rambo, fighting hundreds of bad guys. Take a look at the list below and tell us, which of the popular celebrities do you think should give up their career path and become a full-time artist?

Michael Jackson
Jim Carrey
Marilyn Manson
Johnny Depp
Anthony Hopkins
Ronnie Wood
Tony Bennett
Bob Dylan
Pierce Brosnan
David Bowie
Paul Simonon
Lucy Liu
Prince Charles
Marilyn Monroe
James Franco
Frank Sinatra
George W. Bush
He also paints portraits of fallen soldiers and gives them to the families.
Steven Tyler
Paul McCartney
I don't like these, but I guess the fact that they make me feel creep makes them good art, cause it's only art if it makes you feel something
Macaulay Culkin
Sylvester Stallone
Paul Stanley
Well in fairness, he DID have all those years of painting his own face as practice...
John Lennon
Johnny Cash
I'm not surprised by any of these. Artistic people tend to have multiple artistic talents, just as super-athletic people tend to be good at several different sports. For the others (such as Prince Charles), when you have a lot of time on your hands and no worry about bills or life obligations, it's easy to pick up a side talent.
Yes. I paint with watercolors, and I think painting is something that pretty much anyone can do with time and patience, specially if you have a good teacher to help you start out. And those people probably have a lot more free time and access to teachers and materials than most regular workers. It's just a skill you can pick up like any other, but not everybody has the wish or opportunity to do so.

Out of all the paintings, Tony Bennett's is by far the best art work. The others' are terrible.
Thank you, Daria, we added him to the list.

It is not because you dont really suck at doing sth that you are "talented". These above surely have inflated ambitions.
Load More Replies...i wish i had the education required to understand their mental state better from these pictures.
Wonder why all artist have the 'same way' of painting. None have a 'realistic' style if you know what i mean
No, what do you mean? I see a big difference in these paintings and since you don't even know the term for "realistic" in this matter, I bet you have no idea what you're talking about
Load More Replies...if you're an actor, actress or musician, whatever you made, whether it's good or bad ,still they're good to make some money.
Too bad the "celebs" don't keep to their "art" and keep the hell out of politics.
Can you imagine how much money would be made for charity if there was an exhibition of all this art?
It's all beginner art. There isn't any secret talent. I didn't see anything that actually surprised me.
Not really surprising. Creative people are rarely only creative in one way.
Most of them had to smoke or pop something! It is so clear from the crazy colours! Hahaha Love it
All these faces i cant understand. Really dont find anything interesting to paint faces, most boring topic.
I think this just proves that the more you practice something, the better you become. So while you may say they have ”talent”, it more reflects what they have chosen to focus on. (I also think many of us have forgotten how to be artists as we’ve ’grown up’.) While some mentioned here are not as good as others, I applaud them for trying to be well-rounded artists (even though there is a politician mentioned as well).
Wow, if that's what he sees when he is looking at a women and her child, he needs to take up another hobby.
Most of these are mediocre at best. Lucy Liu and Steven Tyler should stick with their day jobs. Missing from the list: Eugen Levy's surprisingly beautiful singing; Geena Davis qualified as an Olympic archer; Neil Patrick Harris starring as Hedwig in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" on Broadway.
I would include Terry Crews and Nick Offerman (does'nt paint but is an excellent woodworker)
And Paul Sorvino too! he's a very talented sculptor

You should add Kurt Cobain. Far better than his evil widow. Also John Squire of The Stone Roses.
After looking at all of them I could find none I was impressed by. My 6 year old granddaughter who has limited control of her fine hand movements can do better than any of these.
Talent tho? Think what you mean is secret hobby for most of them. If it was art as a talent it would be a celeb like Terry Crews.
Why did you get downvoted ? You explained your opinion in a very polite manner.
