Jameela Jamil Is Calling Out Celebrities Who Push Detox Teas One By One In A Savage Way
Jameela Jamil may play the “hot, rich fraud with legs for days,” Tahani Al-Jamil, on TV show The Good Place, but her recent Twitter rant proves that offscreen she’s as real as it gets. Over Thanksgiving weekend, the most gluttonous of holidays, the star took a stab at celebrities who peddle “flat tummy teas” on social media, a fat ‘cure all’ known to contain diuretics.
In her far from subtle Twitter series, Jamil summed up her criticism by saying she hoped they all sh*t their pants in public. Scroll down below to read Jamil’s humorously blunt message on the nonsense behind these ads along with the comments she received.

Load More Replies...I love Jameela Jamil! I love her even more now. I don't care what people do to their bodies...it's their bodies...BUT..when you have millions of fans who watch your every move, and most of them are young girls then you have a responsibility to them.
In the 18th and 19th Centuries, being poor was thought to be a moral failure, rather than a socio-economic one. In the 21st Century, being fat is considered a moral failure, rather than a socio-economic one.
lax Teas (as i like to call them) not only do not work the way they are promoted. you will also get : stomach pains, a Brown soup invading your panties, depending on the tea - bad breath and on top of all that some teas who use the ingredient "Senna" or "Senna leafes" have also a good Chance of you getting addicted and Building up a resistence so you Need more and more to see any "effect". been there, done that. (to my shame) when i was studying in japan a few years ago Senna Tea and the Banana diet where the latest fad and since we european gals look like the hulk in comparison to all those fragile, thin ladies strutting around in Harajuku and Shibuya i got some tea from another Student. i never regreted drinking tea that much.. oh the cramps...
Lena, I get you are no longer a teenager, and know better now, but for the teenagers out there reading your comment, please, know the clothes sizes are not all about weight. It's your bone structure as well. For example, even when I'm at my best weight, I have naturally large shoulders and hips, so you guess → no pretty dresses for me. But you know what? A Korean friend once confirmed to me that she has similar problems when it comes to clothes. She, who doesn't look any bigger than the average Korean ladies. And last time I went to buy skinny male jeans for myself, the (Korean) woman working at the shop showed me the jeans she was wearing and said "look, it's this model from the male section". She wasn't overweight or even chubby either, and she wasn't even as tall as me. So, girls (and boys) don't let the fashion industry bring you down. I KNOW it's difficult (been there, still there, still struggling), but you find a way.
Load More Replies...When I fasted for 48 hours and took two mega doses of laxatives for my recent colonoscopy I had the best flat stomach ever! I was soooo hot. And hungry. And on the toilet. But if anyone had come in to the bathroom I'm sure they would have said I was loookiiiiing gooood.
I've unfriended people over this stuff. They start selling it, and turn their Facebook page into nothing more than a "Flat Tommy Tea" billboard.
Everyone is just trying to sell you stuff on social media, especially these "celebrities". They almost never have our best interest in mind, just making more money.
Same for YouTubers, they get paid to recommend makeup and other products..
Load More Replies...I feel like wanting to be thin is not inherently wrong, i know what i'm worth and if i want to use my free time trying to become hot that's my choice. The big problem is that the wrong and unhealty methods to do it are insanely advertised, everybody tries to sell you miracolous potions, tools or bizzare diets. I lost 35 libs since 2016, there are no cheats, i went to a doctor who teached me how to eat better (not less) and than to a personal trainer to learn how to exercise, if someone tell you that there are easier ways they lie.
Yeah but to many people, being thin (or what we consider thin) is simply not healthy. For instance, my sisters took after my father, in that they are rather stocky. Not fat or anything. Just rather sturdily built let's say. One of them tried really hard to be "thin" once. She failed and almost ruined her health doing so. So yes, sometimes wanting to be thin is inherently wrong. And remember that you're only hot to flatter your own ego. ;)
Load More Replies...Why would you promote that!? Everyone is beautiful, and if anyone ever wants you to change, then they're not worth your time. Love yourself, your body is your body, and it is beautiful in every way possible, no matter what people say.
I was just b*tching about those laxative teas the other day on that post about ripoffs - delighted to see that others know it's BS too.
Its not just celebritities. Its also suicide girls like Lua Suicide who has pushed tummy tea as well. Instagram influencers, nude suicide girls, or insta models can push this as well.
that’s sad to hear. i expect more body positivity from suicide girls.

Companies and businesses wants to make money off of people because they know you will believe them through advertisement and such! Do your research people before buying any detox stuff. It doesn't work and your wasting your money!
Jameela Jamil's intelligence and wit are as gorgeous as she is.
Good for her. Anyone who is willing to cause others abdominal cramping and diarrhea for some extra cash are a bunch of creepy little losers!
Khloe looks gross. I'm sure her waist is photo shopped, but being that thin with a ginormous butt looks unnatural. What is wrong with them?
Now who is body shaming? It's called a camera angle for a reason, and so what. She's got big booty and thighs. I'm 5' and naturally skinny with giant boobs. Dunno how that happened. Is there something wrong with me too?

What Perez Hilton fails to realize is that his kids will have peers who will believe his endorsements of harmful products, and peer pressure being what it is, he will be harming his own kids.
Stupid is as stupid does. People are morons for giving these vaporous self centered self aggrandizing dumbshits any attention at all. Yet (dumb) people hang on their every action and send them money by the truckload. We can only hope Darwin kicks in and these people die before they breed.
Perez Hilton, aka Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., was over years ago. He posts things like this in a desperate attempt to regain relevancy. He's a buffoon.
I just wish the title of this article didn't say "hilarious" I feel like it's downplaying the problem....
Thomas the language you use to describe these women is really offensive.
