Galina shared that it all began with her making funny edited pictures for her friends. Eventually, she thought about creating an Instagram page for them. She said that she kept posting new pictures with hardly any notice for about a year, and then suddenly, she got a lot of followers! "I was so happy and excited that people all over the world liked my pictures!"

Galina shared that she's a big fan of cats! She also mentioned that both her mom and grandma had cats too, saying, "I've been around cats since I was a kid. And, of course, I've got a cat of my own called Uma, who happens to be a white Persian."
Galina expressed her joy about the fact that many people from all over the world often visit her page, enjoy her pictures, and leave positive comments. She mentioned that she enjoys making people happy.
The artist thinks there's too much stress and bad feelings in the world. So, she's trying to make a calm place on the internet where you can forget about those bad thoughts.

"I was sitting in my room and my mom and my dad came in And they pulled up a chair and they sat down, they go: Mike, we need to talk to you And I go: Okay what's the matter They go: Me and your mom have been noticing lately that you've been having a lot of problems, You've been going off for no reason and we're afraid you're gonna hurt somebody, We're afraid you're gonna hurt yourself So we decided that it would be in your interest if we put you somewhere Where you could get the help that you need And I go: Wait, what are you talking about, we decided!? My best interest?! How do you know what's my best interest is? How can you say what my best interest is? What are you trying to say, I'm crazy? When I went to your schools, I went to your churches, I went to your institutional learning facilities?! So how can you say I'm crazy?"
The artist said that when she began making pictures, it took her a long time, maybe 30 to 60 minutes, to finish one. She explained that she had to carefully pick a picture and then work on it. As she gained more experience, she got faster, taking around 20 minutes on average. Now, after learning more advanced techniques over the years and making her pictures look more real, she's back to spending about 30-40 minutes to make them the way she likes.

i found the run of mill A.I. a bit subtractive from the cat faces. like, how many times have i been given that same fruit bowl in A.I. images i've prompted . it distracted me. However i see cats and wheeeeeeeeeee. thank you for posting this.

I love animals. I love cats. After all, I've been voluntarily letting my black-and-white cat Easy (the afterbirth of a succubus) bully me for 6.5 years. I love art, especially oil and tempera painting. I love Jan van Eyck, Hieronymus Bosch, Sandro Botticelli and my adoration for Caravaggio is beyond any imagination. But scrolling through this I thought to myself......ohhh, a portrait...okay, another portrait...and...a portrait...followed by...well, another portrait......I simply would have liked more movement, action and cat drama...
