As an artist, a lot of the work I like to make tends to be very serious, sombre, or mythical. But like all things, there needs to be a balance. So Recently I have taken to painting cats floating around in space as a way to lighten up. (Pun not intended, but I kinda love it)
Some of these cats are based off of SPCA photos that a friend of mine takes when he is volunteering. It's always fun to know a little bit more about the cat that you are reimagining a new life for in a galaxy far away.

painting cats in outer space sounds serious have you given any consideration to painting cats underwater? we all know cats hate water.

These are wonderful. And cats really do spend so much of their time in space---leaping, jumping, diving, hunting, running, etc.
