I created this series of cats because I am fascinated by the variety of styles found in art history. I tried to recreate artistic ideals, style, as well as the technical approaches of each and every art period.
Oh, and I also happen to like cats! I hope you enjoy.

Also, Egypt has a myth about the cat goddess ( Bastet) and the chaos serpent (Apophis) fighting for eternity, as commanded by Bastet's master Ra ( the sun god/ pharaoh of all Egyptian gods) after his being banished to the heavens by Isis ( goddess of magic and wisdom) Sending Bastet to fight Apophis in the Daut was his last command.

How about "Cat climbing down a staircase" in Marcel Duchamp's style, or a cat in Mondrian's style? These are delightful for both cats and art lovers. Bet cats love them too!
These are very amusing! I am extremely impressed with your skill and I adore your sense of adventure. What I want to know, OP, did you have a willing model? lol...let me know if there are more to come!
What? This is amazing!!! Hope you get compensated for this amazing art. Very unique.
How about maybe inspired by Dali (maybe cats instead of clocks in Persistence of Memory, or something else), Rembrandt, Edvard Munch (Scream), Da Vinci (The Last Supper, Mona Lisa, ...), ... there are so many possibilities
The ones I like most are absolutely fabulous! Well done Veselka! Title them "After xxxx", sign them with your name and sell them online as posters or postcards and offer the originals at auction once the copies/posters/postcards are popular (be ready to delegate the business to a trusted and efficient someone to run for you ...). PS I came across this post and the links to this page on Tumblr.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! (Words is not enough to explain the feelings when watching them.. it's more like OUGH! (Being punched in the heart with pleasuring feelings!)
That's what I like about Jackson Pollack. If you stare long enough you can see a cat and every and anything else.
They are awesome. Could I use a couple of them for t-shirts? I love the Kandinsky one, it's amazing!
these are amazing! congrats, you should try with dogs too :)
Can I purchase some in hi-res??? Searching for something new on my wall, and one of these would be awesome!!!! <3
Art teacher here, showing kids the same subject in different art styles.. Nailed it!!
What kind of style do you want to see in a next series :)?
The fact I liked best besides the Van gogh cat (It is gorgeous!) was ... (sorry Night Owl) NOT having a "melting" Dali cat. There are so many surrealists and so many possibilities, but everyone just thinks of The persistance of memory.
So much c**p passes for "art" on this site, it's almost shocking when someone with actual talent posts something! Well done!
