Cat Visits The Beach For The First Time And Has Very Strong Opinions About It

Every pet owner out there knows how different and truly special each animal is. For instance, from the first sight, many cats could look and behave quite similarly, though when you live with one, you know what a distinct, interesting, and one-of-a-kind personality is hidden inside that little fluffy body.

This ginger cat named Pumpkin is no exception. Recently, his family decided to take him along with his brother Moustachio to the beach for the first time ever, and this trip made them learn a bit more about Pumpkin’s unique personality. Turns out, their adorable ginger boy loves the beach but absolutely hates the strong wind.

“The first day my daughter and I brought him to the beach, the wind picked up and he started to make faces. We had never seen anything like it before. So we took a quick video. The beach pictures all came from a 5 seconds video! He has since been back to the beach and likes it very much,” his owner told Bored Panda.

But then the wind started to pick up

Turns out, Pumpkin always loved spending time outside and going on all kinds of adventures with his family. “Pumpkin was so captivating from the beginning. He is so curious, charming, adventurous and so very intuitive. He loves all other animals and they love him too. He seems to be so connected to all living things,” the owner told Bored Panda. Needless to say, when his owners were taking a trip to the beach, they were sure to take their little fluffers along with them.

At the beginning, Pumpkin seemed to be having quite a bit of fun exploring the beach and running around in the sand with his brother. But then the wind started to pick up and it became obvious that the ginger boy isn’t really into it.

Turns out, Pumpkin was adopted as a rescue kitten when he was really small. “We decided to foster a mom and 4 kittens from a local animal shelter. We instantly fell in love with them all, but we just couldn’t let Pumpkin go. We knew he was special right away. We adopted him, along with his brother Moustachio as they were inseparable,” the owner told Bored Panda.

After some time, his family discovered that Pumpkin had a mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia, affecting the part of his brain that controls his motor skills.

The photos capturing Pumpkin’s disapproving looks were posted on Facebook and it currently has over 11k likes

“Pumpkin has a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia, and it affects a part of the brain which controls his motor skills. It makes him clumsy at times. It affected his coordination as well as depth perception,” the owner explained. But his condition doesn’t stop him from enjoying his life to the absolute fullest.

We live him so much and he brings our family so much joy, we’re happy we can share him with the world.”

It’s obviously much more than that, but I appreciate the variety of topics, information, and pics I get to see every day and share with the world! Those funny memes really make my day too. Being born in the ’90s in post-Soviet Lithuania speaks more about me than I’d like to admit. I’m still learning about the world and myself, but I do love my friends, traveling, art, and my cat. My favorite fact to share about myself is that I used to hide meatballs in my friend’s pockets at lunch so I could go play outside. I wish all those meatballs could find their way back to me someday.

Pumpkin probably didn’t mind the wind as much as being held up—-uncomfortably—-like that just for a stupid picture.

My thoughts exactly. Same s**t with the "smiling" or angry dogs, provoked yowling scared cats that are "funny talking". People need to stop this s**t for the views and treat their pets better
