„Sandy cat” is a sculpture finished on the surface with an incredible, natural material – sand. The sculpture itself is tough as concrete. Work was made with a proven technique developed by the author, solid and beautiful in it’s structure.
Despite it’s toughness the sculpture is not heavy (weights only about 1kg / 2,2 lbs). „For me the most important thing in this work was catching the animal’s movement and it’s nature, hidden under surprising material.”
Components: light insulating foam, sea sand.
