Kimonos and cats are two things that are definitely popular in Japan, so it was inevitable that they'd eventually collide to form one super-kawaii perfect storm – cats IN kimonos.
Kimonos are traditional Japanese robes that are now usually worn only on special occasions. These cat kimonos are becoming so popular that they can be purchased online from Amazon.

That cat's face... Disappointment, suffering for the human's sanity... XD
The cats are beautiful & so are the kimonos, but I think the latter should be on dolls not on cats. A cat already has clothes in the form of fur & look far better in their own fur than in a kimono. I think it must be very uncomfortable & hot for the cat to be packed into such a restrictive outfit all the time. It's good to see cats loved & looked after & not abused but if you really love your cat, or any pet for that matter, then please consider their comfort first? They're both very beautiful - but not together. <3
Adorable but knowing cats and dogs the coat won't stay on for long nice pictures though.
Not funny Jan! Animals deserve respect and dressing them like toys I do not like!
I'm sure the cats are thrilled to be dressed up like a Thanksgiving turkey. However, I'm sure there's less hair all over everything else.
I'm just surprised to see the cats just sitting there & tolerating being dressed up because i know my 5 would be having a hissy fit. It looks pretty yes, but it is kind to the cat? Because in general cats don't really like being dressed up like a doll. One of those little coats dogs wear when it is cold maybe but kimonos? Really? And they look so bulky at the back, I can't imagine it being very comfortable & especially if the cat likes to lie on its back with it's legs i the air as mine often too (& looking so damn cute at the same time I might add :) ) No I don't think we should put our cats in kimonos. Sorry.
It really all depends on the cat no matter how you toss the coin. And keep in mind that they may look bulky in the back but im pretty sure that they make them out of polyester or something so its not to heavy. Even if they didn't people arent making them wear them everyday all the time. I'm petty sue they put them on took the picture and took it off.
