Guy Gets Professional Pictures With His Cat, And They End Up Looking Like Engagement Photos

What do you do if have a ridiculously cute cat? You both go to pose for professional photos, duh.

One 21-year-old guy took his adorable cat, Charlie, a 1.5-year-old Russian Blue mix, to a professional photoshoot with the idea to print one of the cute photos on a canvas for his mom as a Mother’s Day gift. Throughout the pet photography shoot, Charlie would hold tightly onto his human for a close-up shot, and would gently pose in his arms or lap.

The two best friends obviously share an indestructible bond: “(The pictures) ended up looking more like engagement photos,” the guy jokingly said. The camera-friendly feline seems to be born a model, and their stunning pictures are really worth a canvas and a frame!

Some of them just don't know it yet ;-) My husband never wanted a cat. After dating a while we talked about me moving in because I'd been staying with my parents after a career change/relocation & the traffic was hell. He apparently told me not to bring my cat Chunkerz along due to the lease arrangement, but I don't remember that at all. Haha I do remember the shocked look on his face when I came home one day with kitty in tow. My husband is now Chunkerz' biggest fan & he never saw it coming, heeheehee.

So that look on the cat's face is pure, "Daaaad! Get me the heck out of here! What's that light? Is he trying to suck out my brain? Daaaaaad, he's freakin' me out!"

Anyone who knows anything about cats can easily see the he's terrified. His pupils are dilated, his ears are sideways, he's clinging to his human for all he's worth, and in some of the photos he's panting. These are all signs of extreme stress and fear. People who yammer that it's "cute" to take an animal out of his comfort zone and scare the c**p out of him for a couple of hours are idiots.

Photos aren't very good quality. It doesn't look like engagement pictures at all, that title was just to get people's attention, I bet.

Cat definitely looks a bit nervous, but this is a cute idea. He's still a young kitty and will get used to different situations. And, obviously the guy loves him or he wouldn't have done it. I like it :)

Technically that color is called blue on cats. Hence the name, Russian Blue.
