Hello, I’m Cem Çevikayak. I have been drawing cartoons since 2008. I participated in various national and international cartoon competitions. I have exhibited these cartoons I drew in various publications. Afterward, I started to share my cartoons on my Instagram blog called “Kartun Çizim” as of 2018. I prepared the cartoons I shared here in a yellow frame and yellow tones and integrated them. In my cartoons, I generally handle modern daily life in a minimalist linear style. Here, I present a collage of these cartoons I have drawn over the years. I hope you enjoy it!

I am fine! I’m very happy that I have been productive in drawing cartoons lately and that I have reached a large crowd thanks to Bored Panda. I am a cartoonist and designer from Izmir, Turkey. I originally had an academic education in stage design and I have been designing sets/costumes for a few theater companies for about 10 years. I also compose instrumental acoustic guitar melodies. I share my own tunes on the page of my music project called “Açık Hedef”. (You can listen to my songs on the project's Instagram, YouTube and Soundcloud pages.)
I started drawing cartoons 15 years ago. First of all, I was drawing cartoons to send to various international cartoon competitions and humor magazines. Afterward, I decided to set up a cartoon blog called "Kartun Çizim" and independently share my cartoon sketches on various social media platforms. Influenced by the humor magazines I followed as a reader during my college years, then I decided to draw cartoons. Afterwards, I started to be interested in animation design and I also produced some stop-motion short films in this field.

The Man Who Knows Everything
The general concept of my cartoons is the climate crisis, the effects of technological tools and social media on people, and advertisements that encompass all areas of our lives. Therefore, the message I focus on in my cartoons is; It is emphasizing the disconnection of people chasing virtual needs from the real world. When drawing cartoons, my favorite part is finding ideas and developing them. I can say that the part I enjoy the least is the coloring part.
No War!
Changing World
My advice to those who enjoy drawing cartoons like me is to create your own unique cartoon language by blending your view of the world with the visual language of your sketches. No matter how physically we have passed into a digital world, still do not underestimate the magic of the paper-pencil relationship. Don't be afraid to try new ways of expression as you put your ideas on the line. Among my plans for the future is to publish my cartoons in a book and to reach a wide readership. At the same time, I want to continue to find and draw new cartoon ideas for a longer time period.

The "I wish it was more/better" thinking is LITERALLY what brought us all modern advances. Like efficient heating and insolation, medicine, TV, Internet, transportation, mashines for easier working, etc. Thinking development is a bad thing is naive and one should probably try living in some medieval times for a while.
I enjoy the artists cartoons, but the sentence structure on this is horrible
For music, I'm pretty happy with 5. The only "improvement" would be to be able to get new songs, but that's also basically #1, so just combine them.

Ads are how websites, YouTubers, and a lot of businesses make money. Without ads, they wouldn't be able to continue running. Wikipedia doesn't show any ads, which is why it doesn't earn ANY money and have to ask for donations.
