You can spend the night at 2743 meters above sea level, but it’s not for the faint of heart – this accommodation will be on a suspended high altitude cable car!

It’s probably not the best place to stay if you sleepwalk, as it’s located at the highest point of the Courchevel ski resort in the Rhône-Alpes region of the French Alps. It may look like a simple ski lift at first sight, but it’s actually a fully furnished room that accommodates four people. Guests can enjoy a magnificent mountain view when dining above the alps while the cabin is suspended. Unfortunately, there is no bathroom, so they have to use the one at the cable car station. Nonetheless, it’s the best Airbnb that we’ve seen!

The next morning, you can hit the slopes from the early morning in 3 Vallées – one of the most favored ski resorts in the world.

For such an exceptional hotel, there are some special rules: you have to respect the neighbors (as chamois are easy to wake up), ”do not call asking for more ice,“ and keep in mind that “lines are for travel, not for washing.”
