Woman Finally Transitioned And Became Who She Was Meant To Be After Years Of Bullying
Sometimes we don’t feel happy; life just keeps bringing us down and we can’t seem to get up. We find it hard to keep moving forward and reach our goals. We find it difficult to be who we want to be, scared of embracing our true selves.
However, Jasmine Vine managed to get out of this slope and find her true self. After having a bad upbringing and being bullied by her schoolmates, she realized she wasn’t who she wanted to be and started transitioning from male to female. Soon Jasmine started seeing her true self in the mirror. Jasmine is now glowing, full of life, and is happy to help and inspire others on their journey of discovering themselves.

“My name is Jasmine Vine: a name which I picked for myself when I was becoming the wonderful transgender woman I am today.
The first time I remember feeling like taking my own life, I was 7 years old. My home life was filled with violence, my parents often chose drugs over food, and I was already a social outcast, being called the f-word in kindergarten. None of my family members had jobs. They taught me how to get the most out of government systems. They even thought me how to steal.”
Jasmine was born a male, but never felt like she was meant to be in a male body

“When I turned 14, which I never thought I would, I started documenting my transition on YouTube, and this was quite popular. I often received feedback saying I have helped people find their courage, come out, and feel confident in themselves. Throughout my darkest times, this kept me alive.
I’ve always had a deep desire to help people, and knowing I could do that got me through times I didn’t think I would get through. In saying this, somewhere down the line, I lost sight of my true purpose/calling.”
Not to mention other difficulties she faced in life: constant bullying, family, and addiction problems

One day, Jasmine decided to change her life and finally become who she was always meant to be

“It’s not possible to shorten my story enough to fit this small space, so I’ll zoom over a couple of things: I was addicted to marijuana. I was diagnosed with depression, bipolar, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and god knows what else. I hit my lowest low, spending some time in a psychiatric facility medicated out of my mind. I lost both of my parents.”

Jasmine started her transition

“Basically, my brain became my worst enemy. My mind was a warzone, and I was enemy number one. Many years of psychology and change work later, reading, psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, working on myself, and most recently investing in coaching and change work, and now, I have reconnected with my values and my purpose! I have leveled up so quickly, my head is spinning, and I am ready to make up for lost time!”

She pursued her dreams and started a spiritual journey, helping others that were in similar situations as her along the way

“I have decided to pursue my entrepreneurial and spiritual dreams, and I’m dedicated to changing as many lives as I can along my journey. I’m ready to put on my cape, pick up my crown, and take over the world! I never thought I could become the person I have created today, but I did, and I am!”

“I want people to know that they can experience a lot of bad things and can still turn it around and become a confident, powerful change-maker! I designed the life I am living, and I continue to design it every day. Ultimately my purpose in life is to help other people live their lives by design.”

Share on FacebookI might transition if I still feel like im a they/them by the time I feel old enough.
Do also understand that being a they/them doesn't mean you "have" to transition into male or female. :) You can if it suits you. But you can also try aesthetic tricks without the need for surgery, unless that's really important to you.
Good luck! I have a transgender daughter. The best thing you can do is be who you feel you are.
That is the second best thing you can do. The first is to help her to discover what actually is, not what other people are leading to be
Wonderful story, but very stereotypical; of course people will say 'she was meant to be a woman' when she looks like that. I get that it's what the LGBT+ community need to put forward for acceptance (and that the non-LGBT+ community have enough trouble with *these* stories) but there are non-beautiful trans people out there who are also 'meant to be' their post-transition sex, who get told 'you're not really trans because if you were you'd be trying harder/passing better'.
Fair point. I do think the act of publishing this article is a step in the right direction, though.
Load More Replies...I somewhat agree, although I tend to find and ignoring attractiveness, you can tell when someone is comfortable in their own skin, there's an outward, non-vocal confidence people project when they feel accepted, when they accept themselves, some people never find it, in this case I think she has!
It's because they had to wait to transition because of f*****g, ignorant hate
What do I think indeed... In this case, I think people should be left Da Fuque ALONE and be the who they want to be. Full stop. End of story.
She is so beautiful! It makes me so happy to see things like this, I love when people are able to be who they want to be (I know a lot of people can't), I myself am debating on whether or not I want to try to transition, like idk what my gender is but i hate my voice and i hate my hair and i hate my chest and my ass but i am TERRIFIED of change, so idk what to do
Honestly, I feel like your case is more of an acceptance thing. You don't like your hair, ok then try new hairstyles or cut it or whatever to make your hair more likeable. In that process, you'll see the amazing things your hair can do and you'll appreciate it more. Trust me, I've been there, it was more of a racial thing, but I hated my hair for a long time. Your voice, chest, and butt are all parts of who you are and I don't think that's a reason to swap. I'm not telling you what to do, if you think transitioning is better, then ok. Your life isn't my life. I would suggest though trying other things before switching, because switching is something one shouldn't take lightly.
Load More Replies...I didn't explain it well, I hate being in a female body, I wish I were born in a male body but I wasn't. it's not just "oh i hate having long hair, oh i wish my female features were smaller, my voice is stupid" its "i hate that i grow my hair out so I can act like I am a girl. i hate that i have female features at all, i hate that i sound like a girl, i want to be like a boy."
just know that changing the voice is one of the hardest parts to transition. There is not much control on how your voice will sound afterwards. And i know you hate being in a female body and you want to be like a boy. But being like a boy often includes not hating to be in a female body. here is your first bro-joke ;)
you can be a masculine, don't worry! just because you don't want to act like a stereotypical girl it doesn't mean you're not a girl. I'm a butch lesbian woman, I have really short hair and I only wear trousers; I play football and I hate the attention I get from men because of my female body. but this doesn't mean I'm any less of a woman - behaviors, habits, and preferences don't define our gender.
I want to transition but I keep having second thoughts. So I told myself that I would start with a binder (once I move out cause my family is strict as hell), then, if I feel like myself in a binder, then I'll start with the transitioning
I wish you luck. And I'm so sorry your family isn't supportive. I'd find a lgbtq support group, and talk with some people that know what you're going through.
Load More Replies...Congrats for having a family ready to help you instead of moving you to the flock. The easiest path is "transition", the harsh is to be yourself and fight against all those people that are moving you to what you are not
Sometime ago, youngster were rebel. People used said them what to do, what to think, what to consume and they refuse Nowadays, the established, the firms, the opinion leaders are saying young people "you are like that.." "you must do..." "adapt yourself to ..." and few people says "I am ready to fight and show my criteria is mine and not what you tell me"! What a pity!
please don't wear a binder - it's SERIOUSLY dangerous. almost all of the risks are overlooked by people willing to wear one, but some include persistent pain, rib fractures (a very common occurrence), bacterial infections, severe itching, some scarring, malformation of the chest area, loss of ability to breastfeed, tenderness, loss of muscle mass, postural changes, occasionally shoulder dislocation, numbness, and especially the complete malformation of what would otherwise be a normal, healthy development. I know people who have worn a chest binder and then detransitoned, and the results from wearing the binder look flat-out horrific, like deflated balloons.
That’s only true if you get one that’s the wrong size or you use something other than a real binder (ace bandages, undersized sports bra). If you get a properly sized commercial chest binder and take it off at night they’re very safe.
She’s courageous for fighting her demons and coming out stronger for it. It’s a lesson we can all learn in our life.
Eventually I shall come out to my parents and shall transition.
Elliot Page has shared a photo of a milestone moment since revealing details of his "life changing" surgery.
The Oscar-nominated star posted a shirtless picture of himself spending a joyful moment by the pool to Instagram Monday, captioned: "Trans bb's first swim trunks."
In December, the "Juno" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" star announced that he is transgender and shared with fans that he/ they were the actor's preferred pronouns.
The actor recently opened up about his transition surgery, describing it as "life-saving" and explaining that it led him to feel comfortable in his body for the first time.

It is wonderful to see someone find their happiness. I don't know how anyone - regardless of your 'views' - can think this is wrong. Bless everyone who feels this lost. I wish you all the best in the world.
right.. experimental drugs and surgery, attempting to imitate something he's not, making a mockery of womanhood due... sure, none of this is wrong at all.
Load More Replies...Dude… HRT is older than viagra, reliable organ transplants, and many other stuff that nobody questions. It’s not experimental.
This amiga tuya is a total shitiot bitchweed. I doubt she(sounds like a girl's username) knows, either.
Why do you choose to have a problem with this? You should consider positivity. In fact, you should "change" and become a nice person. That may also take surgery though.
@Don't Look A textbook case for detransition is when a non-trans person was led to believe transitioning would make them happier, and it doesn't work. Since Jasmine is happier after her transition, I'm not sure where you're getting the detransition idea from.
I watched a short documentary that included a very knowledgeable psychologist in this area, & trans herself. In the beginning the only expert center was in Boston. They went through so much evaluation & counseling & tests. It takes a lot of time to be completely sure that it wasn't about being unhappy etc. They made as sure as possible that it is about because They KNOW they are say not a male. They ARE a female. That IS the essence of it all. Sadly, this seems to have become an "in" thing. There are young people who have psychiatric issues look on the internet & think that this may be their answer so they decide to give it a try. They go to one of the many clinics that have popped up & they DO NOT know what they're doing. They have a ONE HOUR evaluation, start hormones ina week &surgery in 3 months. Quickly they realize that wasn't it & things are worse. They need to go back. That's what it is.
Load More Replies...And if you have had an infancy like the one of this case, that mistake can happen.
Yeah, your gender fairy idea is how I explain things too. Except here's the difference: if you're trans, you wake up happy and content. If you're non-binary, you feel roughly the same as you did the day before. If you're cis, you're screaming. And lmao, I seriously wish it was that easy to get hormones or surgery. Maybe puberty blockers (reversible) are given that quickly while they're still being evaluated, but actual hormones? I know trans people who are still waiting for surgery years after they first came out. My best friend can't get hormones unless she's been publicly presenting as female for a year. It's also recommended you don't have surgery soon after starting hormones - you need to see what changes the hormones make to your body/face first.
well everything you just said is total BS... I'll try to address everything here. Firstly, your analogy about how different people react to a different body is incredibly misleading. you're essentially saying that EVERY trans person is happy with the change, and that if someone who claims to be the opposite sex who doesn't like the fact they've had their breasts or other body part sliced off was "never trans to begin with". secondly, puberty blocks are in NO WAY reversible. They yield long-term harmful side effects including preventing brain development, bone marrow growth, and a WHOLE LOT MORE. As well as this, one of the drugs used is Lupron, which is used to chemically castrate sex offenders... and it's being given to eight-year-olds. Yes, this is the drug that stunts brain development and bone marrow growth. There have been very few tests conducted to measure other side effects, and those that have been conducted have yielded results that are concerning, to say the least.
1. That’s not what they said at all?? 2. I’m gonna need a source for that. 3. I’m gonna need a source for that. 4. Yeah I’m really gonna need a source for that. You are just spouting made up b******t. I’m not going to bother addressing all of that steaming garbage but I would like to reiterate that puberty blockers are COMPLETELY REVERSIBLE. They are given to trans and cis kids alike, not just for the purpose of transition but if someone goes through puberty way too early. All they do is delay puberty, there are NO statistically significant long term detrimental effects.
In this I am not hearing that in the main her complete motivation. I am not a male. I am a female and I can't live being who I am not. Maybe she did not include that in this interview. But what I heard was life was basically horrible & so this might be my answer. Or, like I said it wasn't included in the interview. And so l not going to judge at all. I have not lived her life nor do I live in her head. What matters is she is now happy. Her life is good. And it really was/is her answer. I hope she has the happiest of lives after such a crappy start. She deserves it. Has a right to it. For those who don't understand Trans I think of it yhis way. I ask, what if the gender fairy visited at night. You went to bed being a male. You wake up & see in the mirror a female body & everything about your life is now " female".Welcome to your life. You are screaming inside this is not who you are. I'm a MAN, NOT A WOMAN!! Then live with That and no way out. Could be wrong but for me that's how I see it.
the thing is, there are hundreds of online forums where young girls who claim to be boys discuss this kind of stuff and talk about strategies they can use during diagnosis to get hormones and drugs easier and earlier - they convince each other that they should tell the therapists and counsellors that they had been gender dysphoric since a seriously young age, that they cried whenever anyone addressed them as "she", that they "always knew" something was wrong. the whole topic is addressed in this book I read, called "Irreversible Damage" by Abigail Shrier.
nope... detransitioners are people who've socially, medically, or surgically transitioned to appear like the opposite sex, who have then realised that the whole ideology of being "transgender" is completely and absolutely bullsh*t. there are thousands and thousands of detransitioners however whenever they speak out about their horrific experiences in the "transgender community" they're shunned and scorned. it's not when a non-trans person detransitions - that's what the ideologues and activists say to dismiss any person who realised their obvious mistakes. what they're saying is basically "oh, every trans person is happy with their transition, there are some people who transition and regret it, but they're not trans in the first place, so it doesn't count! haha, a foolproof system!"
For those who say she will detransition: research is really against you on this one. People who do transition are not as likely to detransition as conservative media would like you to believe. It does not happen that much, but the stories covering the fact that it does are touted as flagships of proof that transitioning is ineffective.
I don't know which researching you've been looking at but it seems to go against pretty much all actual tests done on the rates of detransition. The vast majority of people with so-called "Gender Dysphoria" grow out of it in time, from 70% to up to 96%.
Load More Replies...Show me a source. And I don’t want some Facebook post show me a peer reviewed study from a trustworthy source.
The sad thing is, this is one of the lucky ones. Rocky start aside, she managed to transition pretty young and can easily pass in public. Many of us do not have those two key advantages...
If everyone supported everyone else in the way we all want to be supported in a time of need, where the support given has no negative ramifications, that would be supporting someone transitioning. In the right wing world, it's dealt with like the Third Reich is coming to defeat the USA on our own turf. I wish this pretty woman to grow bigger and brighter. She can finally feel comfortable in her own skin and be happy in her mind. I'm happy for her results.
Why is the person at the bottom saying she's gonna retransition? She looks so much better and happier!
She's gorgeous. I'm glad that she found peace and is now helping others who are in the same situation. Best of luck to her and her new endeavors.
i don't like the fact it contains very contrary messages "she realized she wasn’t who she wanted to be" & "She inspires others to embrace who they are"
Good for you!!🌹🌹🌹 Your courage is admirable. So glad you didn’t fall into Societies trap of telling you what and who you should be! You followed your instincts and are now a more complete person because of it. BTW, Society sucks and should be removed as a way of validating ourselves! Love and blessings your way sweetheart 🥰😎
so he's a mentally-messed-up guy who took experimental drugs and undertook irreversible surgery to look like a mockery of a woman?... sure. poor dude, his childhood seems pretty horrific, that's probably what drove him to transition in the first place.
the article appropriately uses the correct pronouns throughout. this person is a woman, though she wasn't born one.
Load More Replies...Pronouns aren’t biological you disgusting shitweasel. And even if they were your point is moot because she was born as a woman, she just has different bits.
We haven't really found a "different way" to deal with gender dysphoria (the mental condition that causes most to transition) that actually makes the afflicted person happier than they would be through transition, so I'd say this is the best approach.
Load More Replies...to amiga tuya- hey man, pretty much every human on the planet has a mental disorder. Being stressed all the time? Mental disorder. A lot of things make you anxious? Mental disorder. Mental disorders are a common part of life, and shouldn't just be written off as "weird" or "silly" like you seem to want them to be, and result in those who have them being locked up and forgotten about. Instead, they should be understood and treated- and the best current treatment for gender dysphoria is transitioning between genders.
ever heard of therapy? if someone has the delusion that they are the opposite sex, they can always talk to specialists who can get to the root of the problem. a bunch of studies were conducted and it turns out 70-96% of people with gender dysphoria end up growing out of it. what DOESN'T help is telling the person that their delusion is true - you couldn't tell a mental person that the voices in their head are real, would you?
Amiga Tuya, homosexuality and self established women was called "mental disorders" once. The same kind of straw men arguments were given to homosexuals, "oh next thing you're gonna say people can marry their dogs", or self established women "oh so next thing the Queen is gonna fix her own car without a man?". But science and society developed and realized stigmas shouldn't define medicine. Not long ago we used to believe newborns couldn't feel pain. "We used to" when it comes to medicine and science is just a non-argument. We used to be wrong about things.
there's a wide gap between homosexuality and the concept of being transgender. some people are same-sex attracted - like me: I'm a lesbian woman. but the idea that some people are "born in the wrong body" is flat-out false, and anyone who believes that men can get pregnant and a woman can have a penis is delusional. LGB makes sense, but when you add in the T it all becomes nonsense.
Trans people are not mentally ill. I don't know where you got that idea from. I am nonbinary and use they/them pronouns. I am not looking for a "healthier solution to my problem." I am happy with the way I am. While I am suicidal, it is not because of me being nonbinary. It's totally different.
Load More Replies...Also, nonbinary people are also transgender. Transgender means people don't identify with the gender they were born with. Also, calling people mentally ill is rude if you don't know them personally. For example, I have mental issues, but only my friends and I can make jokes about that.
you might consider it different. But if you do commit suicide, you'll just add to Jon Rodkey's statistics
I will not, thank you. As I said. me being suicidal is different than me just happening to be nonbinary. If I commit, then the weight of being black, school, social life, and other personal things I don't feel comfortable telling you would be the reason.
just to be clear, my comment wasn't an invitation to suicide. I was merely trying to say, whatever you think will be irrelevant if you are dead. People will suit it to their narrative. The only way to own your story is by telling it yourself alive. Also what is nessacary is you improve your spelling! keep schooling youth!!! And don't do drugs ok!
Please stop trying to tell me that my being suicidal is related to my being nonbinary. That is rude and unessacary.
Are you a psychiatrist that has went to university for this and studied for years bc they will all tell you that you're completely wrong and the reason why trans people commit suicide is bc people like you deny who they are and that trauma is very hard to overcome even after they happily become the person they were meant to be.
the statistics that say that "transgender" people are most likely to commit suicide is entirely false. it was conducted in a survery of 27 people, each specifically selected and each payed £50 to participate. in other, more reliable surveys, it shows that delusional individuals who claim they are the opposite sex are no more likely to kill themselves than anyone else.
Now hold on a moment. While there are defiantly people who realized transitioning wasn't what they needed, and those who realize their transition won't solve all of their problems, that doesn't delegitimatize the existence of transgender people who have existed for centuries. Trans people's transitioning isn't a problem, it's those who think transitioning will solve all of their problems.
That is incorrect. Take it from a nonbinary (who is transgender) person. Thanks!
I'm transgender, too. What part do you feel is incorrect? There are people who de-transition, and transitioning won't fix everything, but it'll fix the major thing.
Yes, people can transition back, but it does fix a lot of things, such as finally feeling comfortable in their own body. While there are transphobes out there who have different opinions (which I don't agree with), I believe that transitions can solve a lot of problems, such as being comfortable in their own body, in some cases no gender dysphoria, and more gender euphoria.
He made this up. Trans people that commit suicide is bc of years of trauma not bc they transitioned. Being denied by people for existing causes trauma. So don't deny peoples existence
True. Most transgender people like me (I'm nonbinary) kill themselves because of other issues or trauma. Not because they transitioned.
Some people do that. Most don't. It's true that transitioning doesn't solve all of your problems, but it bridges the disconnect between spirit and body.
Load More Replies...I doubt SHE will transition back. She looks much happier and healthier in the body she is now in. I don't know her personally, but I am getting a lot of gender euphoria from her.
That must be said in order to keep the business going. Many cases, in different themes, like this happen: When the person is not longer happy or suffers serious damage (be it with transforming the body, be it with diets, be it with...) that person disappears from the media. "Broken dolls" are called
The rate of detransitioning is less than 1%, and most of those people realized that they were instead non-binary or gender fluid :)
True. Also, I don't see the point of bringing up detransitioning when this is a story about one woman's transition.
simply curiosity. Transitioning wasn't on the table 20 years ago. 10 years ago it started becoming almost mainstream - I think it was bruce jenner who might have taken a sledge hammer to that wall.
Benjamin, I can't up-vote your comment enough. Fortunately, transphobic assholes like Brett will never pass on their DNA because nobody would want to touch them.
Thanks, Loki! I’ll never fathom the fear those amoebas feel toward anything/anyone different. Their loss...
