Photographer Portrays Humans As Animals To Raise Awareness About Mass Meat Consumption (NSFW)
Through the photo production “meat lovers” Anja Grundboeck wants to draw attention to the insatiable mass meat consumption with all its consequences. If one acknowledges humans and animals as equal living creatures, then our behaviour towards animals is more than questionable on an ethical and moral level.
To demonstrate what pain humans cause, “meat lovers” puts humans into the role of the animal. The images shall encourage humans to get a sense of the enormous effects on us and to critically question these.

Share on FacebookThis is a very powerful statement. I stopped eating meat after reading Diet for a New America 20 years ago.
I mostly see is cannibalism, but the true message in this post is very powerful. :p
Thank you for making this real! It's not easy swimming up stream. But the animals have no choice. But we can give them a voice. Bless you!!
From her eyes ears and mouth. I have been a animal loving vegetarian since I was 15. Always an advocate. Bless the beasts and the children.
Nice job. I did a similar thing in Art School in 1973. The project was a doll painted blue blood color, hung upside down with blood painted
Great. But the planet is already screwed by the worst virus ever existed.
Never give up hope. If all of us do good and really change our habits, then there is a good chance...
Bravo!!! Someone really had to show what is purposely being ignored. I have a question though...is the baby in the oven real, is it photoshopped, or is it a doll? I don't mind any of it, but I highly doubt that anyone would "sacrifice" their baby for the sake of a...photo. I'll definitely be impressed if it is all real, though.
dear isabella! thank you for uour comment and support. to answer your qyestion: the baby is real, but the oven is not. it's actually anja's nephew. on www.malepeoplesee.com you can look at the behind the scenes photos and video. all the best!
Load More Replies...it is true but, if we do not eat animal so what do we eat? fruits? vegetables? what if we have less fruits and vegetables? should we do cannibalism or consume chemical food?? i dont know with this world, and to me i think we just need to use and comsuming everything wisely if you eat aple please plant aples trees alot, if you eat cow do not forget to breed them. it is about living thing do not make them extinct.
With all the agricultural lands we have now, we most likely have a supply of vegetarian food for a long time. ( if humans don't mess up )
Although I disagree with the way animals are treated in meat factories, we still have to eat them. That is not wrong to cook a chicken
Nope, atually we don't have to eat them...
Load More Replies...Okay I don't mean that we are forced too, but that's what people have been doing since the beginning of time
I'd eventually like to stop eating meat all together. I just think that the way us humans treat poor innocent animals is absolutely appalling. They're given things to get them all fattened up, ready for human consumption. They're also used and abused. Us humans can be extremely greedy! I have gone vegetarian at one stage, but I started eating meat again due to migraines. Before I stop eating meat again, I will consult a health pro so I can be told what vitamins I need when I stop eating meat.
...and back in the days, families ate meat maybe once or twice a week. today, it's almost every day.
true, but not how we're doing it today. the largest factory farm is roughly the size of portugal with 100.000 cows.
"Animals are not sentient" "We are animals too"
Load More Replies...We needed to eat meat to survive and evolve. If your ancestors did not eat meat we would not be the top animal.
They are not aware of their surroundings, and though we are animals we have evolved to be aware, they are semi aware.
And I meant other animals, apart from dogs and cats. But farm Animals are not properly sentient.
