Bride Who Is A Computer Engineer Doesn’t Have Any Girlfriends, So She Invites Her Bros Instead

What would you do if you wanted to have a bridal photoshoot but did not have any girlfriends? Invite your bros to have it with you. That’s exactly what 24-year-old Rebeca from Brazil did, and we must say, it was a great idea. “I came up with the idea one week before the wedding. I was looking into some “making of” pictures of brides with their gang of girls, all in robes, laughing, drinking champagne and all, and I got a bit sad because I wouldn’t be able to do anything like that” – Rebeca told Bored Panda.

“The photoshoot was super fun. Everyone was taking shots of cheap booze and sometimes we were laughing so much that we had to take some time to recover and go on with the photos.”

Rebeca studies computer engineering and is one of four women in her class of 60 students, so it’s no wonder that during her years in class she gained a few great guy friends.

Rebeca shared her bridal photoshoot images on Facebook and the internet fell in love with these witty and cute pictures. “I am very happy with the photos. Sometimes I look at then and find myself laughing like crazy. But I never imagined this would become so viral”.

What a great idea! Looks like everyone had lots of fun (and beauty care). That's what friends are for. I love this! ❤️

Good friends are not gender specific. Plus, these guys know how to have fun. This will be a lifetime of memories for all !

Her brothers are the best. My brothers would never in a million years wear pink robes and shave their legs for me.

I LOVE this!! Most of my friends and nearly all of my best friends are men. Definitely gonna remember this if I ever get married. *rubs hands together with a dubious grin*

Huh, seems like a lot of negative comments are happening here. The reason I have so many male friends has nothing to do with anything other than the fact that they are amazing people! I'm a feminist, they're feminists. We're all smart and creative, we trust each other, and we have fun together. *shrug*

I think bridesmaids is archaic anyway. It's nice to be surrounded by some supportive ladies to get you ready, but personally I am over the using your female friends as accessories for your wedding day. Love that she got over it and had a good day.

I tried to post on my cell and it wouldn't go through so I'm going to try this again here. (This is also in reaction to all the negative postings I'd seen previously complaining about her not being able to get female friends, these guys likely all slept with her, and other ridiculous bs others posted.) I really don't get all the comments about "why can't she have female family members, you can't tell me she doesn't have at least one female friend." along with "I don't trust any female who claims not to have female friends, it's suspicious." Really? and of course, "She's either slept with all of them or some secretly love her, she's just not wanting competition..." WTF? So a woman can't have male friends unless it's friends with benefits... I call BS! That's rather narrow-minded and completely reflects on the poster's views. Some females just don't seem to connect with other females. It's okay. Besides, this is her life - so your comments mean little in her reality. Thankfully.

Seems clear that these guys had the fun of their lifes and will be repeating the bridal photoshoot weekend yes and yes, even without bride and, hopefully, without photoshoot.

I get she's a computer engineer, but she has NO female friends? That seems odd. I liked a gal in college who had all guy friends. I was repeatedly told to stay away, which was the best advice I ever got.

Yes, and this is a "red flag" for a future husband relationally. I am wondering what personality wiring she has that has kept her from having friends of the same sex. Whatever it is, there is a good chance that it could play a part in future marital relationship issues (I hope not though).

It would be awesome if one of these days we see pictures of guys who only have girlfriends. But honestly I find it hard to believe she wouldn't have ANY lady friends at all. What about from high school or her neighborhood? She has to have at least one.

The first thing that came to my mind was, a girl with no girlfriends implies a struggle or significant impairment in social interconnectivity with ones own sex....a huge red flag for the gentleman marrying this young lady. Is she on the autistic spectrum scale (nothing wrong with this at all, of course), or is she off-putting to women for some reason? Sure, there may be few women in her class, but (1) where are they (Is she socially isolated from them?), and (2) what of her life before university? No friends from secondary school or childhood? Husband be wary. Yikes.

Not everyone stays close to their home town. What's really the more likely choice: she's socially inept, she is on the spectrum, or she doesn't live near enough to her childhood friends for them to remain close?
