Books are a treasure in life—wouldn’t you agree? First, there are so many of them, in different genres, that everyone can find something they would like and enjoy. Another thing is that books can help you feel calm and relaxed. At the same time, they can bring the extra spice of drama, romance, or even detective fiction to life. Best of all, books exercise our imagination. We can all paint a personal picture in our minds of the book we’re reading: the plot, the dialogue, the setting, the characters, or even their clothing.
So, this time we’re serving you a book quiz. It might sound super easy, especially if you’re a bookworm! However, here is the trick: we prepared 25 famous books and you’ll have to guess them just by their covers.
Do you think you can recognize them all? Let’s find out! 📖

Trivia • Name These 25 Books Just By Their Cover
This is rather stupid, different editions and revisions of books are usually issued in different covers. You'd only know the book if you had the specific edition that used this cover.
21/25 - purely on what my sister would call "context clues" - i.e., I have no idea what the cover of Moby Wiener looks like, but seeing as the two images had a white whale in them, I made an educated guess XD Same for The Metamorphosis, IT, etc. I think the only ones I recognized outright were Catch-22, The Great Gatsby, and Lord of the Flies. I love all of Stephen King's work, and I also hugely love Fahrenheit 451, but the images shown aren't the cover art of the copies I own.
That was the stupidest quiz to date. Books have different covers in different languages and editions. They should at least show publishing year and country.
I agree. Not the same cover in a different language, or in à paperback edition. Why the downvotes?
Load More Replies...18/25 largely on guesswork. I've got multiple copies of Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit, one copy of the Silmarilion, and none of them look like the LotR cover in this list. Also, there's no such book as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in my personal universe. 🇬🇧 😉
I got 18/25. I made dumb mistakes at first and then started using context clues.
"Fahrenheit 451" is a fantastic read, if you haven't read it before. It was published in 1953, yet it is somehow more topical and relevant today than ever. It's also a fairly short book as well, so it's not something you have to slog through for weeks :)
