On Sunday, the annual Burning Man festival kicked off at Nevada’s Black Rock City. Tens of thousands of people have gotten together for a week of art and alternative living. One of the highlights this year is a giant Boeing 747, which was transformed into the largest art car ever at the Burning Man.
Titled ‘The 747 Project’ (it will be fully finished in 2017), it was created by a nonprofit organization – Big Imagination. The jet invites festival-goers inside for “journey through life towards one’s future”. Think daily talks in the first class lounge, an incredible view across the Playa, and musical performances at night. Wish you could be there? Don’t worry, you’ll soon be able to enjoy the experience virtually with a smartphone and cardboard (currently in Beta).

If they pull it off it would be very cool, but this is just a hope and a dream right now. Why is an unfinished project on BP?
