Internet personality Sierra Schultzzie is all about being confident and kind to your body. And one of her recent projects perfectly proves it. Sierra has been recreating iconic celebrity photos, but in a way that didn't overpower her own personality.
"I'm not trying to look like these celebrities," she said in her YouTube video. "I'm just recreating the pose, the outfit, the photoshoot. It's just gonna be me, Sierra, in a way I naturally am."
To achieve better results, Sierra teamed up with a team of professionals, including videographer @rubensamuelcortez, photographer @tonymoux, and producer @sky.p_. From Marilyn Monroe to Britney Spears, they paid homage to quite a few wonderful women and had a blast doing it as well!

Britney Spears
There's something unnatural looking about Brittany Spears' photo. My guess is photo shop. This other girl looks so much better honestly!
Tony Moux, a photographer who worked on the series, was really happy to be a part of it. To him, this was more than reverse engineering the images. "I'm deeply inspired to work on projects and with people like Sierra," he told Bored Panda. "She has created a positive awareness of the beauty industry. What we find beautiful has had a narrow vision in the past. These photoshoots are just one way of widening that vision."
Victoria's Secret
"Personally, these shoots have helped me realize how many layers go into a shoot. With set design, costume, make up and retouching, it's no wonder we feel that we can attain such beauty. I promise, it's all smoke and mirrors," he said.
Zendaya
Tony has always had a preconceived notion of YouTubers and influencers. However, working with Sierra has changed his mind. "The notion that they make random content and rarely work [is] not true at all," he explained. "At least in the case of Sierra. She works her butt off, nonstop. Every challenge she takes on requires a massive amount of courage."
Audrey Hepburn
Both pictures are pretty. Hard to top audrey(or marilyn) though.
Marilyn Monroe
A Star Is Born

WW2 Kissing Photo
The original photo is f****d up. The woman didn’t know who the guy was and talked about how she felt assaulted by him.
That was false. She actually just said that she was surprised, but also that the War was over and it was cause for celebration.

The left one looks ridiculous! What's going on with that completely unnatural a*s? And she almost breaks her back, that must be uncomfortable.

Ariana's pose is physically impossible... how does gravity even work in that picture??? Why isn't she falling back??? I NEED ANSWERS DAMMIT

You look cute! And you look happy which is much more important!!
These photoshoots are much more about self promotion than any body issue. It’s become tiresome.
Agreed, and these "body Positive" chicks live in an echo chamber.
Load More Replies...Mid sized???? No, absolutely not. Ariana is unhealthy (she couldn't even lift a child, but the child could lift her in a video I saw). But this model is not mid sized, period. I'm sorry.
Promoting obesity as a positive body image is scary..would we applaud a guy with dad bod doing mash ups of the rock or Zac effron? No we'd say he is one Hamburg shy of a heartattack
I think it's not about "promoting obesity", but rather "we're humans too, stop being jerks towards us, let us have some fun".
Load More Replies...Again this,. It was quite for some time and Bored Panda does that again. STOP PROMOTING OBESITY AS A GOOD THING! It's not good, not healthy. Period.
They’re not promoting obesity. Shes just being a model.
Load More Replies...Medium size? Only in the US would she be considered medium size! In Canada and Europe, she is definitively considered big size. If being too thin is unhealthy, so is obesity!
Honestly I don't think she's even medium size here. I mean, she's fine if she's happy- but I'd say that's large. And I live in Wisconsin.

It's not just overeating. It's lack of exercise/activity. If you don't burn more than you consume, you become overweight regardless.
Load More Replies...No. I'm not accepting this. Just like I didn't accept in the 90's when all the models were anorexicly thin.
She's not body positive, she's obese. And I don't think we should promote that.
Go to Instagram and look up #bodypositive. Nothing but fat girls.
Load More Replies...I seriously do not understand how people keep glorifying this. I mean, I know losing weight is not easy, it's very hard, but its all about changing your lifestyle. Instead of saying this is a "healthy" start making better food choices and go workout at least 3 times a week. I have done it, so have many many people. I agree body-shaming is bad too, but don't say this is Healthy please...
I don't understand all the negative. I read this - I enjoyed it. I don't think it glorifies obesity or says it's healthy. All it says to me is this girl took some pictures.
Load More Replies...It's really nice, but I still like (most of) the left ones more then her. It's just a personal preference thing. I don't think we should promote obesity or try to change people's preference, we should promote not being a d**k! It's not a problem that people don't like how someone looks, but they should learn to keep it to themselves and not be a d**k about it. No need to call out obese people or say they're ugly. Just ignore and move on if you don't like what you see. They know they're obese, and unhealthy, so no need to tell them. People should learn to keep their thoughts inside of their heads more.
To Brivid's point- heavier was considered more attractive because eating high calorie foods was more difficult for low income people. Basically being really skinny and tan meant you were poor and had to work outside all day. Being chubby/ heavy meant you had money and could pay people to work for you.
Load More Replies...Who titled this? She's the same size as me and I am not "mid sized". If it's about self love, then label it more accurately.
Does everyone think that everyone who is obese is so because of their lack of diet and exercise? That’s a stigma I would really like to break wide open. So many people have weight issues due to thyroid, adrenal fatigue and other major illnesses. I was petite and in shape when I suddenly found myself really sick. My weight shot up 100 pounds+ within months and doctors were racing to fix the issue. 10 years later, I cannot lose the weight no matter what I do. It sickens me how much people judge. And I don’t think this is about promoting obesity. My daughter won’t see this article and decide she wants to gain a lot of weight. I believe it’s showing a body type that’s underrepresented. Some of the photos above are sexy due to the confidence alone. And that’s what I want to show my child. Confidence is beautiful. Sorry. End of rant. This really struck a nerve with me...
Most thyroid and adrenal problems com from eating too much grains and sugars, and too litle green leaves. So unless you have a speciffic DNA protein synthet
Load More Replies...You'll never find greater self-righteous a-holes than in the comment section of any article about a woman who isn't a size two.
If "fat acceptance" promoters can demand to be accepted as models and sex symbols "with the body they have" because "all bodies are beautiful", I demand to be accepted as a millionaire "with the money I have" because "all bank accounts are rich".
Isnt that mid-size only in Murica? :-( Truly don't mind larger or heavier ladies, but In many countries that is considered to be obese.....
Yah. Whatevs. I work my butt off to be within proper doc recommendation BMI as I'm over 40. Take care of your young self, and your old self will thank you. And, don't elect to surgically enhance your body out of media-driven vanity.
Recreating old photos, that's original. Puerile attempt to turn the gaze away from so many people turning into fatarses, super original.
Jesus christ people, she did something fun and positive. More than your pathetic selves could ever THINK to do.
Okay to everyone in the comments you have seriously got to stop they are not trying to promote anything and to those who are so brainless You can still be healthy and be her size look it up Experts agree that you can live in a larger body and still be fit and healthy, but that does not mean weight plays zero role in the complex story of certain conditions. And there is also called having thyroid issues and sometimes losing weight is just hard to do because of having low metabalism. Maybe instead of judgemental jerks you should just see how absolutely beautiful that woman is and is actually okay with who she is. Maybe you don't like it because you just do not like yourself or the thought that plus sized girls are actually coming out and being comfy rather than hiding away ashamed of who they are.
To me this is just showing truth that clothes in magazines & promotions look like this on models, but, the reality is we are not all model measurements & the girl on the right is how they look on a big majority of us when we get them home. Should we not buy them because they only belong to skinny people?????? Not up to anyone to tell somebody how they should look.
By the same logic as "fat acceptance", if we just tell BIGOTED and UNCARING society that the stage of one's cancer is "just a number" and you are "healthy at any cancer stage", "cancer acceptance" could save tons of money on healthcare.
I think she's a bit bigger than "mid sized". This is not a size 14. More like 18 or 20.
We have become obsessed with "proving" anything and everything today. Plus sized vs skinny, women vs men, yawn
some people have different body types and no matter how much dieting and exercising wont change it. deal with it, dont get mad at people for accepting themselves.
Cut the grains and the sugars to have only them in fruits, go run 4km in 40 minutes 4 days per week and lift weights in squats, militar press and dead lift 2 repetitions of 7 with a weight you can handle three times per week and you will loose weight no matter what in less than 90 days. Even if you have thyroid issues.
Load More Replies...In Europe in my country from size 40 (UK 12) you are mid size. Harsh standards. But they make me take care of my health, eat healthy meals, snack less and excercise on regular basis. And I would never switch these 'petty standards' of the society where I live in, to the American ones (or in this case - to British now too)
She is definitely happy and comfortable with her body more than I am in mine and that’s why she is beautiful, but she is not mid-sized. I would really like to see “real” mid-sized models (or plus-size whatever you want to call it) on covers of magazines.
She's clearly obsessed with pictures of slimer girls. Looks like she spends hours posing like them.
Who cares about what any hater comments, as long as this woman keeps continuing to feel happy about her body thats all that matters!
I find more important to be responsible towards all the other people who need medical attention because of disgrace, and stop causing healthcare clots because of all this stubborn suicidal by overeating people.
