I’m Jen The Body Painter, a professional body painter. My daughter and I painted this model for about 3 hours to make a nice fall outfit. Besides pasties, a thong, and a hat/scarf, shes basically naked!

We walked through the mall to see whether people would react. It got pretty interesting.

She actually wasn't completely nude. Her nipples were covered and she was wearing underwear, which is the same as a bathing suit really. Do I think it is in good taste no I don't, but did they do anything illegal no they didn't.

I think it was to promote the body painter and to get people to realize how realistic body painting can be. Plus it's harmless and the reactions are entertaining in my opinion. As for a male it would be interesting but problem harder to cover up their genitals

It is bizarre how many problems people have with this. It is artwork. A womans body with necessary parts covered is a problem for so many. Really goes to show this strange and uneducated culture we have here in America. Also why is this ridiculed when the degrading nature of "american footballs" cheerleaders arent. Why is no one commenting under the nearly naked VS model billboards. ANd lastly for the women who have an issue with this- work on your body and respect it and you can do this as well. I myself would compare my body as in or more in shape so I dont have an issue with it. But its probably my education and awareness level creeping in that has me appreciate this as well. Hope the jealousy and the ignorance stops soon

I can understand the comments saying that it's pointless but some of the reactions were funny. The bra fitting for example and the wife (I assume) whispering to her husband. She wasn't actually naked and it wasn't harming anyone so no big deal there. Model and painters were all women so again no issue. Harmless bit of fun and promotion.

what a ridiculous thing to say. You say "this is what some women choose"....you see ONE incident of an artist and a model doing this and you conclude that "some" women choose this? You mention sexual harassment as if there is a correlation but you clearly don't even understand what it means. WOMEN should be allowed to look how they want without being harassed by someone who thinks it's their right to do whatever they want to another human being simply because of their gender and/or the way they look . I'm not saying one should go naked in public but that's not how this society generally works anyway. This was one incident that was unusual. That's why it was posted on the internet. It's not "smack against what women strive for". In your explanation women should basically stay in their place so men won't be tempted by them.

So many nasty people! Why? This is art, folks. The mother and daughter did a beautiful and realistic job of painting. The model is pigeon toed, which is a defect and not something she can help, and many of you are being so mean and ridiculing her. Wow. She doesn't deserve your ire. She did nothing to any of you. Is it because you are all jealous that she has an amazing figure and looks great in paint? This amount of negative comments is shocking for a bored panda post. I always thought that the people who post here were better than this; deeper, not superficial. More tolerant. Disappointing.

She wasn't naked, FYI, the video shows it. She wore underwear and at least something to cover her nipples. So she was actually "almost entirely naked", but I might be nitpicking. It's an interesting idea, I guess as a social experiment? Otherwise, even though I deny the talent, it's a waste of time and resources, really.

Some people criticize this test and say what's the point? The point is... the artist is advertising her skills and they are AWESOME! Realist painting is a true talent. Big catalogue companies like Eaton's and Sear's used to pay big dollars to artists who could replicate a pair of blue jeans like that.

She actually wasn't completely nude. Her nipples were covered and she was wearing underwear, which is the same as a bathing suit really. Do I think it is in good taste no I don't, but did they do anything illegal no they didn't.

I think it was to promote the body painter and to get people to realize how realistic body painting can be. Plus it's harmless and the reactions are entertaining in my opinion. As for a male it would be interesting but problem harder to cover up their genitals

It is bizarre how many problems people have with this. It is artwork. A womans body with necessary parts covered is a problem for so many. Really goes to show this strange and uneducated culture we have here in America. Also why is this ridiculed when the degrading nature of "american footballs" cheerleaders arent. Why is no one commenting under the nearly naked VS model billboards. ANd lastly for the women who have an issue with this- work on your body and respect it and you can do this as well. I myself would compare my body as in or more in shape so I dont have an issue with it. But its probably my education and awareness level creeping in that has me appreciate this as well. Hope the jealousy and the ignorance stops soon

I can understand the comments saying that it's pointless but some of the reactions were funny. The bra fitting for example and the wife (I assume) whispering to her husband. She wasn't actually naked and it wasn't harming anyone so no big deal there. Model and painters were all women so again no issue. Harmless bit of fun and promotion.

what a ridiculous thing to say. You say "this is what some women choose"....you see ONE incident of an artist and a model doing this and you conclude that "some" women choose this? You mention sexual harassment as if there is a correlation but you clearly don't even understand what it means. WOMEN should be allowed to look how they want without being harassed by someone who thinks it's their right to do whatever they want to another human being simply because of their gender and/or the way they look . I'm not saying one should go naked in public but that's not how this society generally works anyway. This was one incident that was unusual. That's why it was posted on the internet. It's not "smack against what women strive for". In your explanation women should basically stay in their place so men won't be tempted by them.

I don't understand all the negative responses to this! I see people who look like they have fewer clothes on all the time. And I'm a very modest person . This is about the body painter's artistry . I think to have a bit of balance a men could feature in body painting a bit more; A New Yorker loosely holding a hotdog, an excited circus strongman carrying a dancing cobra, a burglar with a crowbar and swag bag would all be good subjects for the artist to make reality

So many nasty people! Why? This is art, folks. The mother and daughter did a beautiful and realistic job of painting. The model is pigeon toed, which is a defect and not something she can help, and many of you are being so mean and ridiculing her. Wow. She doesn't deserve your ire. She did nothing to any of you. Is it because you are all jealous that she has an amazing figure and looks great in paint? This amount of negative comments is shocking for a bored panda post. I always thought that the people who post here were better than this; deeper, not superficial. More tolerant. Disappointing.

She wasn't naked, FYI, the video shows it. She wore underwear and at least something to cover her nipples. So she was actually "almost entirely naked", but I might be nitpicking. It's an interesting idea, I guess as a social experiment? Otherwise, even though I deny the talent, it's a waste of time and resources, really.

Some people criticize this test and say what's the point? The point is... the artist is advertising her skills and they are AWESOME! Realist painting is a true talent. Big catalogue companies like Eaton's and Sear's used to pay big dollars to artists who could replicate a pair of blue jeans like that.
