Canadians are heeding caution, too. Many are cancelling their trips. Some people think as long as they have their paperwork and passports in order they're guaranteed to be okay. But from the USA's repeated refusal of due process and just making those denied entry to go back home, and some of those denials are based on errors or minor thing, there is no guarantee and if you're kidnapped and sent to the concentration camps, you may not get out for weeks or months. It's not worth the risk.

My bf is British. He's told me they are cutting off benefits to disabled people to make them work. He's a carer for his severely disabled, ailing parents, and is very worried what's going to happen. I've heard of how their benefits system gives their own assessments of disabled people, through invasive, upsetting tests to figure out what they are capable of. I've been trying to reassure him that it's highly unlikely he and his parents would be affected. But I'm not fully confident of that.
"Megachurches": 30 Of The Oddest Things That Seem To Be Normalized In Society
We learned about the human body in Biology, Health and High School Phys. Ed. Finances was taught in Consumer Math ("easy math" that high achievers avoid because Calculus is more revered). Meal planning and basic childcare was taught in Family Studies and Home Economics (a mandatory subject in Junior High). Caring for pets was taught, sometimes, in elementary school with class pets. But a lot of this, such as laundry, should/can be taught at home. We can't expect schools to teach everything. Parents have to contribute, too.

I didn't really want a baby, but I did wonder what it would be like. C****m broke, though, and when I thought of my options (abortion, adoption, keep), I felt like this was the one thing I could control in my life and I felt that I really needed to have this baby and raise it myself. I'm very stubborn and determined to prove myself this way. Tbh, as much as it was a struggle, I have no regrets today other than who her dad turned out to be and timing. She's in her 20s now, and, no, I have no grandkids yet. Nor expect any in the near future. My mom wasn't a teen mom, either, so it's not always some hereditary thing some believe. Knowing what I've learned a bit too late, I was likely groomed by my bf.

Some do. Some don't. I was 17, just a month shy of my 18th birthday when I had mine. It was tough. At the time, I was resilient and tried to be a good mom. Looking back, now that I'm in my 40s, there are some aspects that I feel I would have been a better parent in my 30s than teens, of course. Even a better parent than in my 20s. It would certainly have been a bit easier on me to be an older, more respected parent, that's for sure. I don't think I could handle it now, though, as my energy levels are much lower than when I was younger. If you're wonder, yes, I took s*x ed, and had "the talk" spoken AT me, one time. I didn't want a baby until I met my then bf, who was 3 years older than me, had a job and had friends with kids. My mom was busy with her social life, going out every weekend night, sleeping during the weekend days. We didn't have a good relationship. My mom was verbally, mentally and coercively a*****e, and had a lot of bfs come and go. I wanted a reason to get out of there

Should never be mentioned by anyone. It's always women to women, too. Especially if you don't wear make up.

Just the "work family" being mentioned makes me want to throw down my vest and leave. We're a team of employees. Not family. Almost every meeting we've been having my manager loves to emphasize how we "spend more time with each other than our own families at home".

You'd be surprised. I worked with 20, 30+ in employees who needed help putting in their password every shift.

it's the clapping to music when performers are doing routines, particularly at figure skating shows. There's just something about a crowd listening to a song, and bouncy beat comes in and people start clapping to the beat that gives me cringe vibes. I guess to me it gets in the way of the music and ruins a bit of the mood of the routine. Sometimes people can't get the rhythm right.

I refuse to think like this. I go to work, sometimes not having the best of days. Some days are absolutely terrible. But that can be any day if I were at work or on my own time. But I've realized sometimes my worst days were because of my own inner thoughts and attitude that others are picking up on, dragging down the whole vibe. So I started being of more help to customers, complimenting them, and finding ways to bring joy to myself that is getting noticed by others. The main thing for me is that I just go, do my work and go home.

It's some sort of Jewish custom, but there are non-Jewish parents opting for this male genital mutilation. They get hella defensive about it. Some even think about their son's s*x life, which is really gross.

I get what you're saying. People buy things the rich people make. Often those things are becoming less and less worth the price. So we then replace the thing, lining their pockets all over again.
