You're missing the big picture here. When BLM did what they did, they were met with pepper spray and rubber bullets. When the Proud Boys did the exact same, the police held their hands. It's the hypocrisy and the favoritism. The racism. This reminds me of when the cops took Dylan Roof out for burgers after he shot up a black church.

And BLM aimed at being peaceful (they called out rioters and asked for peace), but had some outside extremists who were violent. These people never intended on peaceful protest, so there actually is a huge difference.

Oooh, Cats&Dogs, I'm not even from the United States and I know for a fact that what happened at the nation's capital this past Wednesday was not a "peaceful protest" by a group of people who felt like their voices were not being heard. No, please call it was it was-- an outright riot by domestic terrorists. It was a failed coup and true attack on democracy. If you believe that these "terrorists" were justified in their actions to hang nooses, throw teargas, fire into the nation's capital, parade the Confederate flag, wear Nazi symbols, etc. all because they were angry that their voices were "not being heard" you might want to do some more research into the history of white supremacy. You can be angry, hurt, and frustrated that your voice is not being heard-- that is understandable. However, should NEVER EVER justify domestic terrorism and putting the lives of other innocent people at risk. It should NEVER justify such blatant displays of racism and hate like it did on Wednesday.

They used violence in pursuit of political aims. Who are they if not terrorists?

Louloubelle, I wish I knew a way as well. Bored Panda appears to have started to use a "language filter" that blocks out foul language, but they still have a huge problem with trolls on this website; language filters don't fully resolve the problem of hate speech. In the past, I believe that they used to moderate the comments section more. However, they really need a way to contact site moderators as I personally don't feel safe or good coming to a site where there are racist, homophobic comments. I value free speech, but when people are openly attacking others and blatantly using hate-speech like Youtube Istrash is, then there needs to be a way to "block" users or "flag" comments with hate speech.
