Woman Gets Surprised When Her Rescue Cat Turned Out to Be A “Vampire”
Meet Monkey, the black cat with vampire teeth who looks just like a character from a Halloween movie. He is a rescue cat who lives in NY State with his loving owner, and his teeth are for real. The kittie’s human Nicole Rienzie was in a car on her way home when her mother nearly hit a black kitten. When they got out of the car, they saw a cat that was malnourished, covered in bugs and dirt, and with an eye infection so big, he could barely see where he was going. “At first I tried to find him a home but I realized how much our meeting was divine alignment. I needed him just as much,” Rienze told LoveMeow. Soon after Renzie adopted the cute cat, his teeth started to grow, and she realized the cat was special…
Monkey’s canines kept growing and getting longer and longer until the feline started to look like a little vampire. Rienze started to worry, so she took Monkey to the vet who told her the cat was completely fine. The long fangs in cats are rare, but it does happen.
“When people look at pictures, a lot of the time they think they’re fake,” Rienzie says. “I’ve had people say they’re Photoshopped. But they’re not – they’re just his funny cat teeth. They’re always amazed, wondering why they’re like that.

Share on FacebookCats are evolving. This one doesn't need humans to open the milk carton for it.
I also had a rescued cat (from a killing station in spain) who had teeth almost as long as your cat. DSC09185-5...cb36b2.jpg
My cat also has vampire teeth. His name is Sebastian and he is a black cat with bright yellow eyes, i love him <3
"Catpyre"?" "Vampcat"? IDK something like that XD btw his bite must hurt. A lot. LOVE the pic with the leaf on his mouth.
Sabre-Toothed housecat. Because that's basically what those are.
Load More Replies...I'd've called him "Fang." Real imaginative I know. Love the look of him regardless - a cat is always a good addition to the household.
She probably named the cat when she got him, and back then he didn't have fangs and she couldn't have known.
Load More Replies...Hi, wow, this is a cat very similar to a black cat of my friends, called "Gigione"! But it has vampire teeths over ...and under!!! Look at the pic! :) gigione-58...a16ad1.jpg
It almost looks like it would hurt but he seems comfy and relaxed. Weird how some cars teeth grow.
Load More Replies...My cat had teeth like that. He just passed away Wednesday, he was 21 years old
My Lucky has the same thing!! Not quite so long though. The shelter actually named him Dracula. I hope Monkey doesn't drool like Lucky does with his big teeth lol
So appropriate! A black cat with vampire fangs. I feel mugs and t-shirts are not far behind. I'd by some.
I do know how to spell buy - I just need a new keyboard :p
Load More Replies...He's beautiful! And not unlike The Simpsons' cat Snowballs I - XXIV (I'm sure it's the same cat reincarnated).
This cat is sooo cute! He would be a good friend for my cat who always has his tongue sticking out x 14670900_1...dd1b15.jpg
I too have a vampire kitty. His name is Ninja. And here I thought I was the only one!
hah, i have a black cat with big fangs, they arent that rare but super cute
It's really not that rare to have fangs showing, I have 2 cats w/long fangs, both are Black (1 has them on his BOTTOM jaw) they're harmless as long as they don't impede their feeding.....although, Monkeys are very long, WHAT A CUTIE!!
@Lou Wow -- You are right. Unlike you I am afraid they might discover other uses for those fangs apart from opening milk carton. Opening tender flesh comes to mind.
I had one with long canines, but not as long as those!
OMG, this is amazing! I'm glad to see she takes him out on a leash: black cats with regular teeth are even in danger from nuts who think black cats are the devil's familiars - and kill them! With those teeth, though, that association could be even stronger for these nut cases. He might not last very long on the street at all! (Well, either that or a random goth walking down the street might cat-nap him...)
"Fangs" for the pictures! ;) Sorry, couldn't resist that one..he is cute though~
People who call their gorgeous cats dumb names- WTF is wrong with you? There are endless name dictionaries available and you choose "Monkey"?! Really?! XD
