If my daughter has the energy, she might text me a meme saying happy birthday. I even reminded her a week before. It was my 60th birthday for Goodness Sake!! I did not hear from her on my birthday. It took her three days to even text me and all it said was: "I'm sorry, I didn't have the energy." It takes 10 seconds to send a GIF text, she couldn't even do that. That can be done sitting on the toilet. I also feel like I have to be on call for her 24/7/365 but if I don't answer the phone the first or second times she calls, she will call the police to do a welfare check. I work from home and am disabled. Yes, I am 60 year old, but I am no where near needing "Help me, I've fallen and I can't get up!" Thank you for letting me vent. This is still bothers me 8 months later. I have set some boundaries, and it has gotten better. Again, thank you for letting me vent!!
