Biohacker, 46, Who Wants To Stop His Body’s Aging Process, Trolled Online After Sharing Update

The biohacker who infused himself with a liter of his teenage son’s plasma in a quest to defy the passage of time has taken to social media to share an update on his “transition.”

Bryan Johnson made headlines last year after announcing he’d start “Project Blueprint,” a series of treatments aimed at reversing his biological age and achieving the body of an 18-year-old.

Highlights
  • Bryan Johnson infused himself with his son's plasma in an effort to reverse aging.
  • He follows a 2,250-calorie vegan diet and exercises daily as part of "Project Blueprint".
  • Bryan shared progress photos, noting even his FaceID is confused by his changes.

The process involves a strict 2,250-calorie vegan diet, daily exercises, counting his night-time erections, and undergoing different medical procedures, such as regular blood tests.

When asked about the negative reactions to the “world’s first multigenerational plasma exchange,” as the tech entrepreneur referred to the procedure, he responded, “We create these boundary conditions, and we label things as normal, and we label other things as crazy.”

“And we try to create these sacred spaces where things can’t be touched. But it’s a trap in time and place.”

Last July, however, the 46-year-old announced that he’d “discontinue” the therapy as he detected no benefits from it.

“Young plasma exchange may be beneficial for biologically older populations or certain conditions,” Bryan wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “Does not in my case stack benefit on top of my existing interventions.”

Nevertheless, the tech mogul is still undergoing other treatments to have the body of a teenager. As he announced on X last week, he thinks the process is yielding positive results.

Bryan shared a series of three photos from 2018, 2023, and 2024 that show how his appearance has changed since starting Project Blueprint.

“Even my Face ID is confused,” the biohacker wrote alongside the photos, adding, “I’m transitioning…”

While the 2018 picture shows him with a fuller face and short, ginger hair, the 2024 Bryan seems to have a more pronounced jawline. His hair, now dark, also seems to have grown.

In a subsequent post, the CEO asked X users to respond to a survey to indicate in which year he “peaked.”

To his dismay, the winning option was 2018, which received 51% of votes compared to the 39% of people who answered he looks his best now.

Chances are that the 46-year-old didn’t find the answers that amusing, considering he reportedly spends around $2 million annually funding his care.

This isn’t the first time Bryan has kept his followers updated on his experiment.

In November, he took to X to write, “I got really skinny the first year of Blueprint and lost a lot of facial volume. We started Project Baby Face 10 months ago. How are we doing?” He accompanied the post with a mirror selfie.

Before that, the billionaire announced, “Hearing my face is not a 18 years old’s; commencing project Baby Face. In case you’re wondering, we’ve focused on maximally slowing my speed of aging, now at .76 (ranking #1 on the leaderboard). Caloric restriction (25%) being a primary driver, which also has the harmless side effect of facial volume loss.”

if Doctor Who taught me anything it's that this guy is probably going to end up turning into a giant skeletal scorpion alien monster thing.

I heard about this guy. first thought is that dumb Qanon s**t, drinking babies blood or whatever. im sure they were all over this one 🙄 but the dude himself, like sure he's muscular, but he doesn't look young. his skin is sagging and pale, his face is thin, but also showing signs of time. he just looks like a fit older dude. no reversal of youth, imo

Honestly if anything he looks older than he is. I'd guess 60s in the more recent pictures.

Did… did he have children basically just to be plasma/cell/organ reservoirs for him in his “old age”?! (Also, as a 42-year-old, I am offended that he felt he needed to start reversing his “aging” at age 38, lol.)

To be fair, we're basically past our physical peak at about 30. If you need proof look at the vast majority of athletes. Not saying we're wrecks the moment we turn 31 (and some people age better than others too) but for the majority it's the start of the downhill slope :(
