Bindi Irwin Is Getting Married And Her Brother Robert Can’t Wait To Walk Her Down The Aisle
Steve Irwin took the world by storm with his immeasurable enthusiasm for nature and his captivating charisma. Years after his death, people still carry a fond memory of him and keep up with his amazing family who continue his legacy. People are immersed not only in the family’s work in conservation but also in their personal lives. Recently, Steve Irwin’s oldest daughter, Bindi, announced her engagement with the love of her life, Chandler Powell and people coudn’t be happer for the lovely couple!

The couple has been together for 6 years and is set to wed next year at an Australian zoo surrounded by friends and family. Sadly, Bindi’s father will not be able to walk her down the aisle, however, she won’t be walking alone.

During this special day, Bindi will be accompanied by her brother who is 6 years younger than her and is happy to take on the honor. Robert couldn’t hide his excitement of being able to walk his sister down the aisle.

Bindi said that she’ll try her best to honor Steve Irwin on her wedding day, to make it feel like he’s there during her special day.

“I really wanted Dad to be a big part of the day, so I’m excited to be able to incorporate him throughout the ceremony and the reception, and I think it’s going to be really special because I feel like his spirit lives on in us,’ she told US Weekly.
Robert also participated in the couple’s engagement. Weeks before Chandler proposed to Bindi, Robert had helped him to prepare for the special moment. The hilarious photo shared on Jimmy Fallon’s show, shows Chandler practicing his proposal on Robert. The young man jokingly said that the moment was the ‘happiest day of his life’.
During the proposal, which happened on Bindi’s birthday, Robert’s assignment was to sneakily take photos of the proposal. And he did an excellent job, after all, he’s a keen photographer.

I remember when Bindi was born. Steve was one of my favorite people and partially responible for me becoming a Zoologist. I felt devestated when he died, but I'm sure it was nothing compared to how his family felt. The world lost a true hero of conservation, but Teri, Bindi and Robert continue his legacy. I'm sure he would be so proud of them all and proud to have Robert walk his sister down the isle in his place. Congrats to Bindi and Chandler!
