It calls me an English major for getting 19/20. It's just normal education in my generation, back when they actually taught this stuff at school.

There are 40 more years of information to learn since I was in school, including at least a couple of entirely new subjects. No reason why today's "normal" education should cover many of these works of literature.

Does knowing the author of any book really makes you smarter?

And I've only actually read four of them, so my good marks don't really translate into bookworm status

I always get the Brontë sisters and their novels mixed up. Emily or Charlotte? And I'm the sort of person who always gets 50/50 guesses wrong.

Only one Hispanic author option for the 2 books written by Hispanic authors & had Hispanic words/names. Bad test.

Why would Frankenstein be called "infamous"? What on earth was wrong with it? Are they confusing famous with infamous (notorious)? Also, all of these were really famous, so no surprise I had 20/20. I was expecting some hard questions.

18/20 with 3 guesses. Skip "classic" lit. Try Vonnegut, Heller, Brautigan, HST, Wolfe.

15/20, and have read 3, "Pride and Prejudice", "The Hobbit" and "Animal Farm". The rest of the novels on this list hold no interest for me. I normally read over 50 books each year.
