Ah yes, happy memories of shouting at my best friend - who was in the next police cell in Chichester, UK - to ask him why we were there and how did we get there ; he wasn't sure .... hey ho, the nice custody Sergeant put us straight, then told us to f**k off and not do it again (whatever it was) - as I remember, he nearly re arrested us when I asked him where was a good place to get breakfast ... (As it turns out, it was the Dolphin and Anchor Hotel ; it was a tad embarassing as we couldn't wash the fingerprint ink off before we went into the restaurant .... It was going well until B - my best mate - got slightly queasy and didn't quite make it to the loo before he upchucked. Oh to be 23 again ....

So true! I went to a party for a friend's daughter last year and wasn't feeling great anxiety wise, was a bit overwhelmed. One of my friends also had a lot going on at the time. We said hello etc and then just looked at each other and nodded. Then gave each other some space, but kept looking out for each other during the party to check they were okay. Exactly what we needed at the time!

This is very true for a healthy friendship. These days everyone is down on everyone else because it is "funny" and wonder why they don't have close friends.

TRUTH...and when you do finally go to mail a package to them they get Christmas...birthday...random funny things ...and bday ...christmas... Cards and it is completely normal to us but no one else gets it
