Did you ever see that Adam Sandler movie "Just Go With It"? This kid played a kid that wanted to be an actor, and every time she would "act" it was bad over-acting. Lol, guess that's how she "acts"

Loki (Marvel lore) is not an actual god though, along with the other Asgardians he is an alien. It was the humans who thought them gods as per the Norse mythology, following their visits to Earth / Midgard. So he did have a childhood. The young actor looks like he could be his son.

like Lara said, it depends. also, deities can supposedly change their appearances at will, so maybe he was just in child form. the most likely conclusion is that it just added to the movie, though.

there's actually quite a lot of birth/childhood myths of the greek/roman gods not sure about the others though.

Depends on the age. I've had variations on the same hairstyle since sixth grade. Maybe if you find something you're comfortable with, you just stick with it - and time flies. Before you know it, you've had the same haircut for 24 years. ;-)

Yes, you seem to have forgotten about tanning. I'm vampire white and even I would get quite tan in the summer as a kid.

Not sure it's that great a photo - I don't think that they are alike particularly but the youngest actor looks less tanned in the actual show.

I 100% agree @leodavinci! It's always bothered me that the young actors look nothing like the elder actors. It was hard to capture the true romance from their youth, onward, seeing the older actors portray them.
