Cleaning is satisfying. There's just nothing better than restoring something that has been neglected back to its former glory; and the dirtier it was, the better it feels.
And what gets grimier than the things that get left outside? Faced to deal with the elements - the rain, the mud, the smog and pollution of our filthy world, these objects seemed beyond rescue, doomed to decay in a fetid morass of crud and muck.
Enter the powerwasher. A true superhero of hygiene, there is nothing that this miracle worker cannot cleanse. Watch in awe as it sluices its way through the gunge, leaving behind a line of sparkle and renewed life wherever it goes. Satisfying? You bet your ass it's satisfying. This list, compiled by Bored Panda, is a clean freak's dream that'll have you googling 'powerwasher price' the minute you've finished scrolling through it.

This Woman Uses The Power Washer She Got As A Birthday Gift To Unleash Her Creative Potential
For more insight about the joys of powerwashing, why not hear from the man himself? That's right, we here at Bored Panda have been speaking to The Powerwash Man, Dublin's very own guardian against grime, who told us that his job is every bit as satisfying as it seems. "I actually love what I do," he told us. "You're in your own zone doing it, I put the headphones on, listen to a podcast and away I go."
"It's a very satisfying job to do as you can see the results straight away. I always take before and after pictures and send them on to my customers at the end of the job along with any recommendations to help preserve the garden after cleaning. A typical job would be a residential house either front or back garden, sometimes both."
"We have some contracts too with commercial customers restaurants , nursing homes etc."

"When doing this kind of work, you're always meeting new, funny and interesting people. Just having a good chat to someone is what makes the work easier, I'm often given more work from the customers that you make time for."
The Powerwashing Man, also known as Stephen, decided to get into the business because he wanted his own business, and to be his own boss. He found that he could buy all the machinery needed without a great deal of investment, and so threw himself into the role. But why should people hire a professional like him?
"I find a lot of my customers use my services after they have tried powerwashing themselves," he continued. "I often come to a house where the wives are sick of asking their husbands to do it, so they ring me."
"A lot of the time they start a job and I come along to fix it and finish it for them. These customers always pretend it wasn't them, probably out of embarrassment!"

So. Damn. Satisfying
"As a small business I often get help. One particular time I needed help but couldn't find anyone to step in, so I begged my wife who being a good wife, helped me out. This job was absolutely filthy, and because she normally has her hair and nails in perfect condition I thought she would kill me. But she got down and put a lot of graft in, we got the job done."
Does the Powerwash Man have any hints or tips for aspiring powerwashers out there? "There is no one single machine or nozzle to use, it all depends on what type of surface we are cleaning," he says. "Some jobs need a hot water machine , some need chemicals. Decking and roofs need a lot of attention, and you need to be careful not to use too much pressure."

I didn't know you could get the wood back to it's original colour with power wash. Feel like buying one now !
The wood has to be sealed in order for it to maintain the original color; otherwise the sun will bleach it too.
