BP: "embrace your natural looks". BP: "those pimples are fine". BP: "Women must not be victim of beauty stereotypes". BP also once a month: "Look, russian women get thrown into a barrel with make-up and you can hardly recognize them, but it is great!"

I love that the same look isn't used over and over like some makeup artists do. The makeup is flattering and not over the top.

This is a much better MUA showcase than the ones BP has been having. Some of these might have used some tape or airbrushing in the afters, but most of them are much more natural looking than the Kartrashian-inspired cake layered makeup showcases of previous ones. The women in the after pictures still look like the ones in the befores, sometimes even with bumps, wrinkles, and all! If BP's gonna peddle more MUA spotlights, can they at least be MUAs who do more work similar to this?

A lot of these "after" photos are also edited. Some even have fuzzy/cloudy filters on the photo which is apparent when you look at the background in some of these. Also how many articles do we need to see that shows people plastered with makeup to look "better"... I imagine it would give people self confidence issues when they can't re-create the same makeup skills at home on their own. The before photos show much more personality.

I wish there was some more variety in the make up choices. There were two main looks put on almost everyone and it got kinda boring. You can do some really fun and expressive stuff with makeup when you're willing to explore a bit

How many quarts of foundation does she start with? Most of these women have perfectly nice skin - there's no need to mess with that beyond a little concealer and some powder. I know it's an East European thing - I've spent time there and this is the style - but making attractive women look like either prostitutes or Barbie dolls seems quite dumb to me.

This is almost comparing apples and oranges. Some of the before pictures the person looks drugged. Most of the after pictures the hair has been done. And lastly: LIGHTING. Soft lighting can erase wrinkles ... if the before and after are not taken with the same lighting and the same hair-do.... then you are not fairly comparing the makeup work.

funny how supportive this community is when it comes to women and tons of poisonous s**t on their faces but at the same time if a man cares for e.g. his beard then it's insecurity and toxic masculinity
