30 Transformations By This Hairstylist And His Team That Show The Power Of A Good Stylist (New Pics)
A major change in look is often times referred to as a makeover. Makeovers don't always refer to makeup when the term is used to indicate a change in a person's look. It can also mean a change in clothing, a new haircut, or even plastic surgery in some cases. In fact, a makeover can be anything you wish to change in your appearance (even the smallest of things) because we all need that little bit of self-care at times, and let's be honest, a little boost of confidence can't hurt you.
That is why the Belarusian hair stylist and TV host Yevgeny Zhuk specializes in giving full transformations to those who might need it a little bit more than others. Having opened his own salon in Moscow, Russia, Yevgeny does his best to turn his clients into a more confident version of themselves.
And in case you'd like to see more of the transformations done by the talented Yevgeny, don't worry, you can find parts 1, and 2 by clicking here, and here.

Maybe if she was wearing makeup and jewelries like the second frame, we would see the difference the hairstyle made.
If you can't see the difference already, you may want to see and eye doctor.
Load More Replies...Yeah, the hair has nothing to do with this. The "bad" photos are done on purpose to be bad, then you add a ton of makeup, completely stylize her differently, use a more fitting angle, better clothes and add some photoshoping on top and voila - The "hair" stylist makes you look better... LOL
Wow she looks great , great transformation. She must be happy with it. Look out gentlemen or ladies, here she comes.
The hairstyle that she previously had took a lot of work to get to that point and I think that if she wanted the one on the right she will take me easy way out and just done that
Not unless she also had surgery, I mean her eyes are lifted (seriously, look at her eyelids) and I don't know that tape can do all that. Her raised moles have also disappeared. But I also don't generally like makeup so what would I know about what it can and cannot do lol
Research has shown that a positive physical appearance is a quick, efficient way to increase self-confidence and also get rid of anxiety for most people. "You feel more relaxed, confident, capable, cooperative, and productive when you look presentable, authentically you, and appropriate for the situation," Says Judith Rasband, a President of Conselle Institute of Image Management.
I will be thrashed for saying this, but I hate that gooey hair on the right. Looks like she dipped her head in bacon grease.
This is a cute haircut and color but outside of getting it colored every so often she's not even going to maintain that hairstyle
This is alot of work outside of coloring this looks great but she won't maint. It every day.
Love the hair. Looks so much better than brushing out the curls. Curls are a positive here.
It takes much more than conditioner to make her curls pop that much
Load More Replies...Trust me...her hair in the left pic is brushed out curls. I know because I have the same hair as she does in the second pic. That is exactly what my curls look like brushed out. Plus, she's not wearing any makeup in the left pic except for a bit of lip gloss. Of course the right pic is going to look 10x better. She is beautiful though...can't argue that.
Love how all of these women have such professionally shaped eyebrows in their before pictures. Everything can be neglected but not those eyebrows. Interferes with the veracity of the before and afters.
Judy is a firm believer that your clothing and grooming habits often affect the way we think about ourselves. In her short book called "Power of personal appearance" Judy wrote, "You can’t afford to think negatively about yourself due to some aspect of your appearance. When you appear authentic, attractive, and appropriate, you think more positively about yourself, your situation, and others."
You would not assume that she had all those tattoos in the first picture.
I suppose we shouldn't assume anything about others...🤗
Load More Replies...All of these women are pretty stunning before the makeup. The hair here needed work, but mostly because it was so damaged.
Looks great . Hair not so heavy at ends now. Color is nice with her complexion. It is a Yes.
They're all absolutely gorgeous to begin with, just no make up or hair that's all.
pale, bland, like eggs in a carton. they look good as they are, but good with makeup and hair, too.
Load More Replies...I call bullsh!t. Right pic has pronounced cheekbones and clavicles, only a slight hint of maybe a cleft chin. Next time compare with pics taken at the same angles. I'm not buying
You're actually showing the power of makeup, not hair. True "transformations" don't need new lighting, makeup and wardrobe to show off a haircut. And always looking sad in the before and smiling in the after drives me nuts. Like they were depressed and miserable before using whatever product people sell. She's gorgeous either way.
This one is unrecognisable in the after pic. Less make up would have been better
Wiw, another great transformation. She has goot love this look for herself. That smile might tell the tale.
"You must be aware of the impact of your appearance as it speaks to you first before it communicates to others. If you want to succeed as an individual in today's extremely complicated and competitive culture. Both how you feel about yourself and how others perceive you are influenced by what you wear and how you appear." States Rasband, the author of the book.
Wait ... the thread is about hair but all these lovely people here have had a professional make over WITH make-up. It's not only "hair". But they do look very lovely tho.
Check out the opening paragraph. This isn't about hair, but about complete makeovers, including dental work and even plastic surgery, to make the recipients into "a more confident" version of themselves.
Load More Replies...I like the "before" better, the other one is extremely fake, way too much make up.
I feel like they could have just simply updated her hair style in her natural hair color and it would have looked much better. I feel like the harsh color change was just too much.
Load More Replies...I agree! The color seems to add light to her. Like an actual glow! Beautiful before, and after, just two very different looks.
Load More Replies...I guess no one actually read the article. It's about a stylist... that means hair, makeup, and clothes. It's a restyling of appearances, not just a haircut
This is like an anti makeover. They've made her too pale and flattened out those fantastic cheek bones. Waaaay hotter in the before shot.
Very dramatic , Hope she is happy with it. May take a bit of time. Looks 👍.
I think having your teeth fixed always makes a change in your appearance and I've no doubt, the after photo here, must have given her so much confidence.
I soooooo wish that I could afford to fix my teeth. :-(
Load More Replies...For those who can't afford a dentist, much less veneers like this lady. A boyfriend, knocked my front teeth out 4 years ago. I finally get to see a dentist on 7/5. But, in Wish app, one can buy teeth molds for upper and lower. Then, buy these beads (I can't remember the name, molding beads maybe?) But, their these little white beads you heat up in warm water, until they're clear. Then, out them in the mold, then on your remaining teeth teeth. Bite down in the mold until it's hard enough to remove without sticking to the mold. It will still be soft, then take a needle, or toothpick and define the teeth lines. Viola! You can eat, and drink with it in. Starter kit, $15! Must can't tell it's fake!
I like it , think she does too. All the looks and cuts the ladies received are very nice and a BIG thumbs up.
She looks happier in the before pic and more serene in the after. Love the colors
What did they do, remove her partial in image #1? Or give her a whole new set of teeth for image #2?
When asked for advice, Judy wrote, "Think in terms of dressing authentically for you as an individual—for your personality, values, attitudes, and interests. Think in terms of dressing appropriately for the group, the occasion, and the purpose at hand. Think in terms of dressing attractively for your physical body. The same advice applies to your grooming."
Right? Just call the article "Stunning Transformations" and be done with it.
Load More Replies...Luv it. She looks happy in both pictures of before and afta. Luv the color and cut. She rocks this one.
I want to learn how to do my makeup to look so much younger like this. All of these people must've had incredible makeup artists! I wish they listed the team members' names that did each makeover. They all did a great job!
This is one of the best on the list. The blonde really looks great on her.
It really does look amazing on her! Bet she wishes she went blonde a long time ago!!
Load More Replies...I like the shoulder length , can still wear up if u want too. Color is nice. She looks great in her new look. They all gotta be Happy. I did not see one fail. Great job. On the transformation.
She looks so much younger , good job ! Keep the look , hair color and red lipstick 💄
Before has more character. The red carpet ready look is not for everyone.
Honestly I like the before look better here, that shirt is fantastic and the red tones in her hair compliment her skin.
I would totally hang out with the person in the first picture. They removed all of her personality.
Don't get me wrong the after photos do look great. But to me it seems they're taking away a lot of they're personality. Like maybe just change they're hair, put some makeup on but let them express themselves with their own clothes, or let them pick the clothes they like. I never understood why we all have to dress the same, or are encouraged by fashion industry to do so. I've never cared about fashion, I just wear what I think is cute
Ok I didn't even notice the makeover because as a crocheter I love the top in photo #1 and want to remake it
Also it seems like her while outfit is crochet? The top, the bra, the suspenders. What a vibe 🙌
Load More Replies...Again with the professionally shaped eyebrows. Be nice if they used real people in these before and after montages.
Bad skin vs makeup and lightning. Note: acne is natural, but it's advisable to minimize makeup on bad skin. The lady's pores must be clogged from the amount of makeup needed to conceal her acne. Correct me if I'm wrong (I don't wear makeup so I don't know a lot about it).
I would say the picture is photoshoped, you would still see the uneven skin
Load More Replies...Perhaps some time happened between these pics and Accutane did its job.
Looks nice but looks airbrushed and that she had acne treatment done and there is less swelling in her lower face.
I thought I was imagining things! It does look as if they are not focused on the same place.
Load More Replies...Very nice. She looks very pretty. Im sure she was happy with this one , who wouldn't be. Great job.
I think that anybody can do the new picture on the right if they want to I just don't think that she's interested in doing that everyday in addition to she has skinned that probably shouldn't be covered a makeup everyday
Makeup artists can paint any face on anybody. Even put somebody else's face on you. Then comes the magic of professional lighting, and professional photographer..... This lasts at most 2hours.... Then back to reality ...
This woman has had her acne treated. Other than that i see only added make up. She has beautiful hair to begin with
O like the Layered look. Makes ya look a bit sassy and gives the hair a nice lift. She looks very nice . Hope she likes it too.
Hairstyle makeup look great but I think that if she wanted to do her and make up every morning she would have already been doing it
But to be frank here, this woman didn’t need any transformations, not shocking like the other one
She looks so much better as a brunette. I wish I could find a stylist in my area who would be able to tell me what color hair would look best on me. I have a bit of body dysmorphia, so I'm honestly never really sure what I look like or if something looks right on me. So I want to ask a professional. Every time I go I ask but it's like they're afraid to tell me because they don't want to make a bad decision and be responsible for it. I wish there was a website where I could take a picture of myself, upload it and a professional could send me a cgi-style version or a couple of options of what would looks best hair/makeup-wise so I could copy it. You'd think makeup sites would do this in order to sell their products to someone.
I like the before hair better. This stylist likes to use lots of product. So sticky and greasy
She looks so different. I personally think she is rocking this look. Great transformation. She looks great.
This one did a lot for her. The hairstyle really suits her look. I really wish I could pull off something like that but I don't have the cheekbones for it. Plus I'm fat and my hair hides a bit of my chins. :)
(whips off glasses).....'.....why, Miss Jones...is that really you??' lol. old joke
Kind of what I was thinking; like the librarian who takes off her glasses and takes down her bun! Lol! She should never wear brown again! Lol! She's adorable!
Load More Replies...She’s so cute before with the glasses. People need to know glasses aren’t all bad
This one I believe is coming out of her shell withe new look. She must luv it. She looks confident and fun in this look. Like it. Does she like , its all that really matters.
Nope. Those curls are precious. Should have been highlighted and not straightened. But if that's what she wanted, then good for her.
As someone with curly hair who often gets this attitude from people with non-curly hair all the time, no they're not precious, no they don't look that good, no they are not easy to maintain and I really hate people with straight hair telling me how 'precious' my hair is. Curly hair doesn't suit everyone, just like wavy hair doesn't or straight hair doesn't. Besides, 'natural' curls often don't look good or healthy. If you scroll down with the lady with the green blouse who has red curls in the 'after' picture-- that is not what natural curls look like. It would take me as much effort/styling/treating -- plus hairspray-- to get my curls to look like that. Despite having naturally curly hair, the maintenance on having them look bouncy and good is more invasive and damaging than than straightening it for me, and it doesn't look any better on my face shape. People shouldn't be ashamed of their curls, but people shouldn't tell people like me not to straighten my hair.
Load More Replies...I want this kinda hairstyle for myself. I like the cut around her face. Make up looks good. This hair cut is great for thin hair but for me a couple more layers for the lift. Enjoy your new look.
I love her curls! She has sweet dimples when she smiles. She should show them off more.
Images should be reversed. #2 before the party. Image #1 the morning after.
Why not accentuate the curls? Why is it always **oh have curls need to straighten** I don't get it
Sometimes going to different style can freshen up your looks.
Load More Replies...Oh man! Her hair looks much happier and healthier in the second photo. Nice work!
The first pic is definitely a bad home bleach job on the hair
Load More Replies...She looks pretty. Not alot of people can pull off this color but she did. Hope she likes it cuz it looks great.
Props to the hair and makeup department. Great wig in image #1. Or is it the other way around? Great wig in image #2.
#1 is definitely real hair. It appears she has some silver hairs and dyed her whole hair blonde but didn't tone it which produces the brassy color. It's also a damaging cycle. #2 also appears to be her real hair. She had a trim and probably Olaplex & oil treatments. Her silver hairs dyed red show up lighter but it adds a dynamic pop. Her roots will still grow out the dark ash color with silver hairs eventually, but I like it! 😊
Load More Replies...She looks sophisticated in her new look. I like the makeup. Very nice, great color. Rocking this one , enjoy.
It does not suit everyone. Some women look much better with shorter/short hair.
Load More Replies...I think she looked better before. Now she looks like she's about to tell me I how I can make $7000/month working from home.
She's beautiful in the second, yes. I think she's more beautiful in the before though.
Still pretty before - like a teenager but now she looks years older.
What's up with the toothpaste white teeth? A fake front? Photoshop? You can see the lower teeth, they have not improved at all.
She looks so uncomfortable in the after picture.. I think the veneers didn't fit, and was causing her pain ..
Her face shape is 100% different. In original she has a large rounded jaw. In after she has a pointy jaw? So "people look better after, hair, make up, surgery and dental" is more fitting
I have a similar face shape, dear, and.. think of a plate held upright - it's round, but if you turn it 3/4 or to the side, it could have any depth or angle - this image might be edited, but sometimes what looks round from the front might be protruding/sharp from side :)
Load More Replies...My face is round like that but can look different depending on the angle. I think that's what happening here.
Me too. She was gorgeous, now she's selling me a timeshare in Boca Raton.
Load More Replies...I can't believe you don't take care of your eyebrows like most women do and keep complaining about it. My eyebrows look exactly like hers before and I'm doing them myself
Load More Replies...Looks totally different in the after, but she's beautiful and has a nice skin.
As someone with curly hair, natural curls don't look like that 9 times out of 10. This is just as 'false' as straightening it, and requires as much maintenance -- you need to blow dry, a curling iron, and hairspray to maintain this. Her original curls don't look like that at all, and little known fact-- often to make curls like this you have to straighten the hair first, either by blow-waving the curls out it or using a straightener, because otherwise you cannot get tight such bouncy, curated curls. I have done this look many times and I have to straighten my hair for it as curling already curly hair becomes a mess. It just gets my goat that people that have no idea how 'styled curls' happen applaud curly hair when natural curls look nothing like barrel round shiny bouncy bs. Sure it looks nice, but as someone with curly hair, my natural hair is beautiful, but that 'after' picture is as unnatural as straightening it.
Load More Replies...The hair in the after pic does not look like anything straight out of a hairdressers. It looks like normal everyday hair. I would be confused if not furious if I came out with hair like that.
Oh ho, but she might actually be able to maintain it! Plus it's a good color and it looks way healthier. They probably trimmed out split ends and stuff. This is more of what I was expecting in this article, tbh.
Load More Replies...Her hair looks ten times better. It looks healthier and the color is more flattering!
She probably had more hair pulled back than we realized. Lovely lady.
Load More Replies...I don't think the hair was her problem at all I think it's the tattoos that kind of make her neck looks slender and make her head look like a bobblehead
Load More Replies...IDK, I kinda like that she shows more personality/attitude in the before. Not a fan of dreads, but I'm not wearing them.🤭
Dreads are so hard to maintain, though. Maybe she was just finished with them. 🤷
Load More Replies...It's amazing what putting a shirt all the way up to head and cover all those tattoos it makes her head look like a bobblehead. Can you cover up the tattoos you don't make her head look like a bobblehead anymore
Love it! The make up us not heavy, more natural. You can see how happy she is with it!
Surprisingly the make-up made her look worse, in my opinion anyway. I thought she was more attractive without the makeup. Hair is nicer in pic 2 though.
Second photo looks like she has no soul and would make for a good Hollywood villain.
Maybe it's not to your liking but I bet they feel more confident. It's not up to you.
Load More Replies...That is lovely eye makeup in that second pic! Hope they gave her some of that eyeshadow.
Just wanna say, next time i see make overs, i would like more variety liiiike maybe not so many blondes? And more color than just purple or red. I want green, blue, and whatever else because THAT takes skills. And more texture/styles such as more waves, maybe braids, pony tails that look cute. That's just me tho.. 🙄
They're totally right! A hairstylist can make a ton of difference when combined with dental procedures, make-up, weight loss, and expensive clothing! Thanks BP, no one could ever have predicted that.
And don't forget professional lighting and probably many shots to get just the right expression.
Load More Replies...Another one where the before is better, her outfit is adorable and her hair color brings out her eyes. Different isn't always better.
Totally disagree with chopping off her long, healthy, beautiful hair. It didn't need coloring either; she has lovely natural highlights.
Heavy make-up, photoshop and in more than one case a set of new teeth... That's a little bit more than just "styling" ...
Women with makeup - good. No makeup and no hair updo - bad. Duly noted.
I'm not sure it's "good vs bad", it's just that anyone can get that polished, glamorous look if they want to. Personally, I think they look pretty either way.
Load More Replies...Notice how all of the 'before' photos are deliberately taken with no makeup, unflattering angles, poor lighting, no smiles, etc. then the 'after' pictures don't just have a new hairstyle, but also significant makeup (and possible photoshop), as well as professional quality photos specifically arranged to maximize positive attributes and minimize negative? All of these are totally deceptive. Another creation of the beauty industry trying to shame people for not meeting arbitrary and superficial standards for looks.
And a change in hair color when the original was fine.
Load More Replies...Photoshopped 100%. Fake “teeth” are pasted over the real ones, for example. Totally sending the wrong message.
And all this only distorts the real average of how women actually looks like, making every women in the world feeling uncomfortable about her appearance no matter how beautiful she actually is and giving little girls the dooming pressure to hide her actual face behind a mask. How about you celebrate their actual beauty and help them feel comfortable without putting on a fake face?
I'm so not used to see women with so much make up. The ones on the left look normal. Not that they look bad with make up, but I'm glad that's not a thing where I live. Ppl don't even recognize you if you use that.
Load More Replies...Oh, for god's sake. This kind of thing shows up on BP with depressing regularity, and it's always exactly the same. Can we please, please, please retire it?
Or maybe see one as advertised, with JUST the hairstyle changed.
Load More Replies...Photoshopped 100%. The new “teeth” are pasted over the old ones, for example.
I'm downvoting because this is not what Belarus should be focusing on or being known for right now. Belarus is letting another country violently contest democracy from their soil. They need to fix that before worrying about personal styling!
PS is not ´personal styling´ here, but heavy ´photoshop´ :D
Load More Replies...What about celebrating the character? Most of them wiped away any personality and left what we see on every magazin and city store. New teeth will always make people look better (confidence in smiling, instantly makes you look pleasant) Heavy makeup is great and all, but a lot of the industries you work it is not allowed to wear makeup, also a lot cannot handle this much make up daily before work/children and it's BLOODY expensive to support this fashion. Refresh the hair, clean face, rested eyes, smiling beats every single makeup tutorial. Stop worrying about what others see, and concentrate how amazing you are to yourself. I have scars in my face, multiple, I had a fun childhood so to speak, I was worried in teens but now I just don't have any skin routine, if you want me to wear makeup pay for it and include it in my contract! You can't because it is illegal
