30 Transformations By This Hairstylist And His Team That Show The Power Of A Good Stylist (New Pics)
A major change in look is often times referred to as a makeover. Makeovers don't always refer to makeup when the term is used to indicate a change in a person's look. It can also mean a change in clothing, a new haircut, or even plastic surgery in some cases. In fact, a makeover can be anything you wish to change in your appearance (even the smallest of things) because we all need that little bit of self-care at times, and let's be honest, a little boost of confidence can't hurt you.
That is why the Belarusian hair stylist and TV host Yevgeny Zhuk specializes in giving full transformations to those who might need it a little bit more than others. Having opened his own salon in Moscow, Russia, Yevgeny does his best to turn his clients into a more confident version of themselves.
And in case you'd like to see more of the transformations done by the talented Yevgeny, don't worry, you can find parts 1, and 2 by clicking here, and here.

Research has shown that a positive physical appearance is a quick, efficient way to increase self-confidence and also get rid of anxiety for most people. "You feel more relaxed, confident, capable, cooperative, and productive when you look presentable, authentically you, and appropriate for the situation," Says Judith Rasband, a President of Conselle Institute of Image Management.
Judy is a firm believer that your clothing and grooming habits often affect the way we think about ourselves. In her short book called "Power of personal appearance" Judy wrote, "You can’t afford to think negatively about yourself due to some aspect of your appearance. When you appear authentic, attractive, and appropriate, you think more positively about yourself, your situation, and others."
"You must be aware of the impact of your appearance as it speaks to you first before it communicates to others. If you want to succeed as an individual in today's extremely complicated and competitive culture. Both how you feel about yourself and how others perceive you are influenced by what you wear and how you appear." States Rasband, the author of the book.
When asked for advice, Judy wrote, "Think in terms of dressing authentically for you as an individual—for your personality, values, attitudes, and interests. Think in terms of dressing appropriately for the group, the occasion, and the purpose at hand. Think in terms of dressing attractively for your physical body. The same advice applies to your grooming."
Heavy make-up, photoshop and in more than one case a set of new teeth... That's a little bit more than just "styling" ...
Women with makeup - good. No makeup and no hair updo - bad. Duly noted.
I'm not sure it's "good vs bad", it's just that anyone can get that polished, glamorous look if they want to. Personally, I think they look pretty either way.
Load More Replies...Notice how all of the 'before' photos are deliberately taken with no makeup, unflattering angles, poor lighting, no smiles, etc. then the 'after' pictures don't just have a new hairstyle, but also significant makeup (and possible photoshop), as well as professional quality photos specifically arranged to maximize positive attributes and minimize negative? All of these are totally deceptive. Another creation of the beauty industry trying to shame people for not meeting arbitrary and superficial standards for looks.
And a change in hair color when the original was fine.
Load More Replies...Photoshopped 100%. Fake “teeth” are pasted over the real ones, for example. Totally sending the wrong message.
And all this only distorts the real average of how women actually looks like, making every women in the world feeling uncomfortable about her appearance no matter how beautiful she actually is and giving little girls the dooming pressure to hide her actual face behind a mask. How about you celebrate their actual beauty and help them feel comfortable without putting on a fake face?
I'm so not used to see women with so much make up. The ones on the left look normal. Not that they look bad with make up, but I'm glad that's not a thing where I live. Ppl don't even recognize you if you use that.
Load More Replies...Oh, for god's sake. This kind of thing shows up on BP with depressing regularity, and it's always exactly the same. Can we please, please, please retire it?
Or maybe see one as advertised, with JUST the hairstyle changed.

I'm downvoting because this is not what Belarus should be focusing on or being known for right now. Belarus is letting another country violently contest democracy from their soil. They need to fix that before worrying about personal styling!
PS is not ´personal styling´ here, but heavy ´photoshop´ :D
Load More Replies...What about celebrating the character? Most of them wiped away any personality and left what we see on every magazin and city store. New teeth will always make people look better (confidence in smiling, instantly makes you look pleasant) Heavy makeup is great and all, but a lot of the industries you work it is not allowed to wear makeup, also a lot cannot handle this much make up daily before work/children and it's BLOODY expensive to support this fashion. Refresh the hair, clean face, rested eyes, smiling beats every single makeup tutorial. Stop worrying about what others see, and concentrate how amazing you are to yourself. I have scars in my face, multiple, I had a fun childhood so to speak, I was worried in teens but now I just don't have any skin routine, if you want me to wear makeup pay for it and include it in my contract! You can't because it is illegal
I think this should just go to show that anyone can be a supermodel with the right resources. Good reminder.
The joy these women feel when they see themselves in the mirror is very great. I'm sure their lives changed for the better after that.
I really dislike the heavy makeup look. It just looks so fake. But obviously people should do what makes them comfortable. It just seems like so much effort.
There's no ugly people, just poor people. Just reinforcing the idea that women are beautiful only when hit the Kardashian standard xD
Sure haircut can make a lot of difference, but in this case, hair is the last thing you notice. almost every 'before' is awoman without any makeup, in casual clothes. 'After' is a woman with heavy makeup, bleached teeth, new hairstyle, jewelry and clothes.
Were most of these women homeless? Too bad you felt you had to photoshop, filter, and put in fake teeth. Not a very good makeover when everything is phony.
Anyone else here think they could use the services of a stylist team? Just for a little tuneup. No heavy fancy makeup or dramatic clothes.
A makeover can be a wonderful experience for someone. But the way these are presented is honestly quite awful. These collections always come across as a "Look how this ugly person became beautiful with a makeover!!" and most of the time, the makeover looks worse. Way worse. These women all look wonderful in their 'before' pictures, but I can't say the same for the 'after' shots. If you're going to keep sharing these collections, at least title them appropriately. These aren't "hair transformations." These are full makeovers, with hair, make up, clothing, lighting, teeth, and photoshop. Do better, BP.
It's nice to see certain transformations, but I don't know why it is so trendy to cancel out any so called imperfections. There is nothing more attractive than freckles, a wrinkle here and there.. Of course, if they are happy with the result then that's all that counts, but I would love to see those ladies with just a TINY bit of make up, enhancing what they have and not turning them into a different person.
