Could be a goldendoodle - a golden retriever/standard poodle cross perhaps??? They can be pretty big. Meet one often on my walks with my much smaller dogs!

Before And After. That's Like Having A Pet Bear
Bears probably don't drool quite so much!! I don't think my full grown dog, who is tiny, is even as big as that puppy!
Now I can't stop thinking of a happily drooling bear 😂
Load More Replies...I love big dogs! Usually they're so friendly and kind, and you can roughhouse with them a bit without hurting them. And they love to be cuddled!
No, he's not. He is still a small pupper who needs to sleep on a lap.
Load More Replies...I had a friend who breeds them. Yes, they are slobber monsters, but absolute teddy bears. Truly, gentle giants.
St Bernard's are awesome but by the gods they get huge. I used to ride ours like a horse when I was a kid.
8 Weeks To 8 Months
She is obviously having a trouble holding the doggy on the last pic a bit. But they are still adorable.

Happy child and dog for many years, every child should have this, they grow up loving and respecting animals !!!
You know the baby in the first picture is the man holding that baby in the second picture right? Apologies if that comes across as twatty, I don't mean it to.

It's a quirk of nature I think, everyone (most mammals) has blue eyes which change colour as melanin is produced by the body. Some don't produce a lot so eyes stay blue, others produce a lot and get dark brown
Load More Replies...Honest question: is that from Lieutenant to Captain?
Load More Replies...To the people asking how the dog’s eye color changed: all Aussies are born with blue eyes, some change, some don’t. My Aussie still has his blue puppy eyes.

Growing Together
Pitties are really cute! They get such a bad rep but they don't deserve it.
Too adorable! That puppy will never let his partner in crime be in harm's way. I kinda feel bad for whoever tries to hurt his human.
A pit bull, my favourite dog, they are banned here in England !!
That's really sad because it's not the dog/breed that is bad; it's the human

Still A Pupper At Heart
in case your wondering what breed that is it is a newfie also known as a newfoundland
slobber-ville , newfies are so big yet, so beautiful. I couldn't have a large, living in a house too small w/out a fenced in yard, yet I love large dogs
Load More Replies...Dogs stay puppers at heart forever, that's the trick behind them being so affectionate towards humans
not all breeds, surprisingly the most misunderstood and now banned dog breeds, boxers/ pitbulls will without fail always want to sit in your lap even if they know they cant fit anymore. cutest and loving pets if trained correctly
Load More Replies...We had a Newfie when my son was a baby. Her name was "Beast" because she SO wasn't. A complete "dog rug". She loved nothing more than to engulf her humans. She was about 28" at the shoulder & around 155 lbs, but when she was six we had to put her down because of hip dysplasia.

Here's My Brother's Dog, Moose The Pyrenees, On The Day That I Brought Him Home And Then A Year Later. I'm 6'4" For Scale
I am not a dog person. I especially don't care for big dogs. I was traumatized as a child, and it is what it is. I've gotten comfortable around well-behaved small dogs. Great Pyrenees are the exception. They are the sweetest giant fluffy dogs you will ever meet. I can almost feel like a child again when I see them. (Alcohol also helps; anxiety ain't playing!)
that is not the same dog in the second picture or a Pyrenees. The face marking are all gone. I suggest it's a mix, possibly sheep dog..

agree, clipping the ears is used for dog fighting! As a sweet puppy you can see their ears flopped! he/she would be happier looking if it still had its original bred ears! owners ; just like we come out naked some with brains some without, everything is perfect AS IS, dont torture your pets. love the name of this doggy.
Load More Replies...Wow, you can feel the love. 'Let's chop his ears and put him in a choke chain.'
sh - training! Reward based training that, as Ashley Kellers so beautifully puts it, bonds human and animal. That is the way to keep a huge dog under control. If people aren't prepared to train their dog properly they shouldn't get one that's too big for them to handle when the dog decides to start pulling. Lazy dog ownership.

Yes, let's abuse this little puppy and crop his ears for no reason at all. Idiots
I find those with 10+ years very emotional, just to think how much time they've spent together, how the dogs see with loving eyes and trust their family, how much love you can see in the people, and I imagine how painful it will be when the day they have to part ways comes.
Same, just reminds me they have such short lives compared to ours, a lot of that waiting for us to come home. I have been inconsolable when my dogs have died, it is the worse.

So much emotion, I love animals so much, especially dogs. My baby is 13 yrs old, I named him Irwin after Steve Irwin, I couldn't think of a better name to honor. Recently Irwin was diagnosed with melanoma , we're trying all options, doing ok at the moment. I can say with my heart & soul, he not only saved me, his love is the most pure unconditional love I've ever had. I pray we have more time together. Love these kinds of stories BP..
