“I am Nicki Draycott, 35 years old, and a student nurse living in Nottinghamshire. I am married to my Paul (36) and we have 4 children together, twins Coen and Ava age 5, Arla age 3, and Evie age 11 months,” Nicki told Bored Panda.

“When I was pregnant and we found out I was having another girl, we knew that the 3 girls would have to share a bedroom. Therefore the search began for a triple bed that would work in their bedroom, ensuring its footprint was as little as possible with them still having a full-size single bed each, to ensure we used the space in the bedroom as best as we could,” the mom explained.

This fun bed could easily be called the centerpiece of the whole bedroom

This beautiful bed seems to be the piece of furniture receiving the most attention. As you can see, this bunk bed consists of three individual beds perfect for three little sisters. Turns out, mom got this bed from “Steps 2 beds Ltd” on Facebook. “Fab service—they come and build it for you. I’ve spoken to a lady and she said if you mention this post, she will know which bed you mean. They have all sorts of options,” Nicki writes in the post.

“We asked the girls what kind of theme they would like, and they asked for pink and flowery, so that’s where the concept came from. I searched the internet for ages before we started the decor planning as the bed was going to be the main part,” Nicki told us. “We then came across a company called ‘Steps 2 beds Ltd,’ who make the beds and come and build it at your house. They are all built to British safety standards, which was the most important factor for us when looking for a bed. We also knew we wanted to make use of the space above the stairs, which was also in their room. We all love reading, so we decided it should be a little book cubby.”

We were curious to ask Nicki how the girls reacted to their newly-decorated room. “They absolutely love it. Ava said when she woke up after her first night, she felt like she was in a hotel. Arla just kept hugging us both and saying thank you, she now stays in her bed all night. Evie is too young to go into her bed yet, however, she has sat on it and was happy and smiling looking at everything. My little boy was the only one who was allowed in whilst we did the makeover as I wanted him to feel involved. He loves it that much he slept in Evie’s bed on the first night,” Nicki told us.

“You’ve put some real thought into this! It’s amazing, luv luv luv! That’s a nice space for growth and lovely memories to be made. Bravo,” someone wrote in the comments. “I want this for myself, it’s stunning,” another user added. “This is a stunning great space saver too, love it,” another person expressed their opinion.

The woman is extremely grateful to receive so many nice comments about her creation. “Never in this world did we expect the amount of feedback and all the lovely comments, some of them even made me teary. They are still continuing as I write this. So many people have said some really lovely things and that our girls’ bedroom is one of the nicest bedrooms they have seen, and that completely blows my mind. However, the best feedback is from our children, and that is what is the most important,” the woman expressed her gratitude.

“I can’t believe the response we’ve got and thank you so much for the lovely comments,” Nicki wrote

“We have done our boy’s bedroom earlier this year, as he wanted a Minecraft room, and also our home office to allow me to have a separate study space. Our house was newly built, so it’s a blank canvas, we have chosen to do the children’s bedrooms first, and we will continue with the rest when time and money allows. I am very much the ideas person and my husband is the one that then makes my ideas come to life, we make a good team. I then enjoy making finishing touches and dressing the rooms. We can’t wait to continue making our house into a home,” Nicki added.
