Russian Makeup Artist Lets People Experience What He Calls ‘A Cinderella Effect’
Vadim Andreev is a miracle worker makeup artist who's trusted by many of his clients across Russia, including Instagram supermodel Natasha Koroleva, among others. Andreev loves to upload his progress on his social media, showing the old and the new look side by side, which he calls "a Cinderella effect," by which he means that he enables his clients to get the overall style that they want and deserve.
He has told Bored Panda one of a few reasons why he likes to do these comparisons: "I always liked the idea of magical transformation. I always want people to feel wonderful, refreshed, and beautiful. By creating my before and after photos, I wanted to show that we can look different and express our beauty in different ways, and it’s fun."

He's one of the lucky few who have found their passion at a young age and who's still happy and proud to do his job. "I started doing makeup when I was a child. I came to makeup school at 16 years old. Now, after 20 years passed, I still feel happy and excited when I do my glam work."
And he doesn't think he's the only one able to do these magical transformations. He believes that it is within every woman's grasp. "Every girl can feel amazing by changing her appearance and revealing something new inside herself, but still remain who she is," said Vadim Andreev.
It isn't the first time Vadim has been featured here on Bored Panda. You can find his previous photo comparisons here and here. And, if you're a fan of makeup transformations, you can check out the posts about other talented makeup artists like those that work in Hollywood, or Melissa Murphy, for example. Either way, if you believe in the magic that Vadim performs, follow him on his Instagram, and become one of his 40k loyal followers! Enjoy!
I really love what he does, but if he did that on me....imagine the disapointment after removing the make up, knowing that i am not able to copy his work, and doing my own make up the next day, hating myself :D
Okay now this I like. Unlike many of the other photos she still looks like the same person. Her beauty was accentuated and her unique features not covered up to look like a creepy photoshopped cookie cutter celebrity photo.
Women deserve to look glamourous at every stage in life. What a beautiful lady.
Everyone frowns in the before photo and smiles in the after photo. :-D What an amazing job he's done on so many different kinds of people. Just amazing!
You can tape up the double chin. Lots of the differences here can be ascribed to photographers' techniques, such as lighting, chin position and turning of the face, in addition to laying on the makeup with a trowel.
It is funny how so many of these women go from looking like a friend or neighbor or family member (aka a real person) to someone you would feel awkward talking to? Just me?
I think the artist uses too much foundation but I am jealous of their eye make-up skills, having no idea how to do a smoky eye myself. And flipping heck, what concealer do they use cos it’s amazing!
It's a filter app, I think. I can't remember the name. Also,, makeup for photos can be incredibly layered and heavy, and in person then look *hideous*!
Load More Replies...I am not for make up, and I am not against make up, but dang, the makeup artist got skills.
