We live in an amazing world that, in many ways, we’re just lucky to experience. Nature is full of life forms that sometimes go beyond even our expansive imaginations. Insects are one of the groups of living things that do that often. Different types are found throughout the world, having adapted to their environment. Some are shocking. Some are beautiful. Some make your jaw drop and go, ‘how can that not be an alien?!?’

An artist recently created an amazing set of illustrations that showcase some of the most fantastic bugs from throughout the world. In a series called “Fantastic Bugs and Where to Find Them,” the artist highlights their physical form as well as some of their attributes and abilities. And then, in honor of the recent Wizarding World movie, the illustrations have a little Harry Potter flair to them as well.

These illustrations act as both art and a way for people to learn. They are both beautiful and educational. Sure, they may not have all of the details and facts included on them, but they are a starting point for people to get interested and learn more about the amazing planet they live on.
